Conner out.

Don't think it's a high ankle sprain, according to a beat writer he was walking in the locker room without a boot on Monday, a corrective boot would be placed on a high ankle sprain immediately.

Can any of our RBs guard a tight end or WR?

If not it doesn’t made a difference... Steelers secondary sucks

No that's what our superstar blue chip hof linebackers are for.

Holy ****, I don't know who diagnosed a high ankle sprain from that video, but they didn't do it in a classroom setting. That is mild as hell. The ankle didn't evert past 30 degrees. He'll be back in 2-3 weeks. I'll stake my rep on that.

Plus I love Samuels. Excellent pickup. More like a Linsey, but shiftier and has speed. Next man up!

They barely run the ball anyway. Not to discredit anything Conner achieved this year, but the ground game has become a compete afterthought.

Have the Patriots game on in the background and noticed an I formation play on third and one with a nice FB led power run right up the middle against a stacked box. They converted a third and one. I haven't seen a lot of Nix, but he seems like a capable FB, and our O-line can play power blocking or angle blocking or whatever you want to call it. It doesn't seem like we have those plays on deck except apparently for goal line situations and it worked great there - that was great to see. Why not install that as an option during regular play, and ******* call it occasionally.

????? Not getting it, this is football. Other teams will have their contentions as well. We will be fine. Quit yer snivlin'

But I like a'snivelin! Go **** yourself with a shovel, you donkey-raping **** eater!

UNLESS this is sarcasm, shut the **** up. Didn't you learn anything with all the ****** you've had that "keep trying till the end" because you never know how things will turn out. Wipe your ******* NOSE and take a shot of "ROT" gut whisky and calm down a little. LotsA **** can happen between now and the end...........................YOUR countless STDs treatments should attest to that........................ ****

Salute the nation

Eat ****

Edit: er, um....sorry. my other side got loose for a second

Ol slashy boy apparently creamed his jeans with this comment

Calm down Squiggy, take a deep breath. When you bring it, be able to take it too.

And good morning to you, creamy! *smooches*

Hi

Did you calm down overnight?

Creamy? You might want to slow down with the porn early in the morn too.

I thought we ran an I once last game?

If you are talking about at the goal line, I mentioned that. Don't recall seeing it again but could have missed it. Would like to see it in other situations.

There's that ****** "Hi" thing again.

Way back when in Germany 87 - 90 there was this one Oktoberfest. A group of us that called each other the four horsemen all soldiers decided to go and have some fun. We were always going here, there, and everywhere. Well me and another guy decided to hit these tables up. Must have been close to 100 of them. We were drinking and always up to something.Well this time we decided to say "hi" table to table with ones occupied with females. Kind of sorting through a slew of them, to see what was out there. Easy way to flirt and see what we liked, etc.

Well if you go say hi to Germans now outside of who you know, they give you the WTF do you want look. It has changed. I am sure that isn't the case everywhere but none-the-less. I had a convo with my German sis and her husband about it.

So every once in a while I throw it on the end of a conversation. Takes me back to two different points in my life.

It can either annoy who is trying to annoy you, or puzzle people. Either way it is more for me than them.

Now at least you know some back story about it.

BTW I met this one girl at one of the tables. My buddies were scrapping with some Turks and I was messing with this girl at her place. They weren't too happy with me bailing that night. But it wasn't like I knew they were going to end up in a scrap.

Sounds like 2014 all over again -- lose your starting RB late in the season, then play 'run by committee' with the guys you have in house until you get bounced in first round of the playoffs.
Bell was hurt in the final game of 2014. Lost to BALT with Tate and co the next week.

Thank you for your service. That goes for all yinz military folks.

Don't think it's a high ankle sprain

Sean Davis (knee), Ben Roethlisberger (ribs), James Conner (ankle) and Marcus Gilbert (knee) did not practice for the Steelers today because of injuries. Anthony Chickillo (ankle) was limited.

===========================

James Conner (ankle) still not practicing

Conner may be dealing with a high-ankle sprain — Jaylen Samuels will get another start against the Patriots if Conner sits.

Poorly managed personnel. Knowing Bell was a holdout the only answer was Conner (unproven). He played pretty well but is certainly over used and needs rest here and there. There is no viable candidate behind him. Samuel's unproven as rb, ok as a pass catcher. Ridley is a bum. Wouldn't get picked up by another team. And the steelers have nothing else.

Conner might be ready for the playoffs, with his nondisclosed "mild" high ankle sprain, lol

Something about eggs...and a basket.....or something

Samuels had 94 total yards in his debut.

He’s probably a good draw and mis direction type of runner. We’ll see if the coaches call running plays that match what he does best.

I do love your positivity Cope. You can PittCharlie are alright in my book. The rest of us are pulling furniture out of what we perceive is a burning house, and you guys are calmly filling up buckets of water and trying to put it out. Something to be said for that.
