By G.Stryker: This time of year is very odd in the NFL.* Veterans with skill and past success get released for strange reasons.* Not unlike when the Steelers dropped LeGarrette Blount late in the year because he left the field early.* This year Kelvin Benjamin gets dropped from the Bills after wearing out his welcome, […]

Well... as the saying goes... This is the most separation he's had all year!

The guy is NOT the sharpest knife in the drawer (wonderlic of 7... SEVEN!). His size is impressive... but he turns like a tugboat. For all his height... his vert is pretty unimpressive (32 inches). His 40 was 4.60 plus.

I am not interested. In fact, I would rather see Alejandro Villanueva out there!

Waiver claims will come out tomorrow. If we don't put one in, Colbert needs to be shot...

The whole off season their moves have been weak at best. The extra Bell money is just burning holes.

He’s the worst teammate in the game. No thanks, keep the drama away.

TWO threads on this completely washed up, slow as molasses, lazy bum?

And who was throwing to him in Buffalo, the water boy? His stats were solid in Carolina with Cam Newton. He's still only 27, hardly over the hill. He would only be the # 3 receiver, but he would at least draw attention away from AB, something that's lacking now. I say for a # 3 guy yes, an upgrade over Hunter.

and who u gonna cut off the roster to make room?

Name names

Justin Hunter is on IR. Does that open a roster spot?

IR players do not count against the 53-man roster limit

they could cut him, pay off his contract, he's on a one year deal

He's not a bum, he's unmotivated, playing for a crap QB in Buffalo. He's leagues better than what we have at the Z, and when he's motivated, he's a high-pointing combative WR.

Ben loves tall guys. Give him one. He's a slower Plaxico, that can actually jump!

Plus, his YPC has never been under 13. We're in the 6-7 range with Wash and Hunter. Time to make a move to make the team better.

I don't think there is any need to get excited. We still have 5 WRs if you count Washington. I'd rather wait for the draft.

The question is simple. Is Benjamin better than Hunter or Washington right now?

Unless he fails a physical or a drug test, I put in a claim for him.

can't believe how many people want to sign this guy. he had a couple good years then gained weight, got lazy, and i believe he had at least one significant injury. There was an article i read about a week ago where he himself said that he had hit rock bottom. Now he gets cut from a crap team with very little talent at WR. Not sure why any one would want to bring him here.

Thank goodness you're just a "coach" on here and not THE actual coach

Maybe we go heavy package. Get Gilbert back in there, move him or feiler to left tackle, move villenueve to t/e, and run unbalanced with Jesse and McDonald. With nix andwhatever rb behind him

I can only imagine this guy getting balls thrown his way by Ben. He's UFA after the year. We have cap space. We shouldn't be utilizing a midget as an offensive weapon. See Sunday night when he got knocked into oblivion. We may also need a new returner if the midget is out for any length of time.

I guess you would rather only let New England do that huh? Pats would get 700 yards as a WR out of him easy....
