This game is on Tomlin!!!

For anyone still lapping the balls of Tomlin and Butler after last night's **** show....shame. Shame. Shame.

This Twitter thread breaks down the GALACTICALLY moronic coaching we witnessed last night, with video to support. We cover Keenan Allen all night with a linebacker. All...night...long. :stupid::stupid::stupid:

The Steelers get owned by the Patriots using these idiotic defensive concepts. And Tim what is worse is they won't change the ****. That is what makes the coaches idiots. The inability to see what isn't working.

NO, according to AJ, that is just Rivers displaying how GREAT he is.

Ummm you can play man on their best wr and zone elsewhere. You mean like having Williams walk up to LOS well before the snap, like that's not tipping your hand?
They can't get home when he's throwing it in 2 seconds because their WR is Killin g our ILB.

Exactly everything is tipping your hand..comes down to making plays..Rivers made them even when being pressured.

Im sure it was the coaches who told the team to come out and go three and out to start the second half.

Because the adjustment is getting the sack or forcing bad throws.. but Rivers made good throws something our guy didnt do when pressured he threw a lolipop pick. Buts its ok hes a hall a famer. Great throw to Brown though..
Haha, if AB was being covered by their ILB, any QB could make those "great throws". I haven't seen you bash AB for not getting his feet in on one of Ben's bad throw, or on JuJu and Vance for drops in what would be first down throws?
Ben led us down the field and tied the game, then sat back and watched that Tomlin 2 special defense get carved up yet again, running the same pathetic scheme that WASN'T working.

I for one don’t think one missed TD by Ben is the issue. He keeps us in every game we play.
My assessment includes the following:
A) Missed calls by the so called professional refs.
B) Absolutely zero adjustments make by Tomlin on defense.
C) Never establishing the run game.
D) Again trying to cover WR’s with slow LBer’s
E) Absolutely zero playmakers on defense.
F) lack of a deep threat on offense.
G) facing probably the best QB to date.

This team will finish 9-6-1 just enough to sneak into the playoffs only to be eliminated one and done.
Next year repeat cycle. The only way things change is to remove Coach Dumb *** and all his cronies and bring in a real coach. I think Munch deserves a second chance.

The adjustment you ******* idiot is NOT having your LB cover their leading receiver for most of the second half. Apparently, like Tomlin, you are too ******* stupid to see it or adjust to it. When you can get the ball our in 2-3 seconds with your WR being WIDE OPEN, you are not going to get pressure most of the time. 7 years we have been watching the same flawed concept of LB's trying to cover guys they are not capable of covering, yet the scheme NEVER changes.

All AJ needs to do is watch the dozen or so clips in that Twitter thread. Look at that huge critical 3rd down. Once again, we INTELLIGENTLY put an ILB on Allen. He is so wide open Rosie O'Donnell could have dropped her fat *** back from under center and shot put the football towards Allen and he would have caught it.

Last night is 100% on the coaches. Once again, as we are 2 out of every 3 weeks - ill prepared and totally outsmarted.

The **** gets old.

You make it sound like Rivers is completing these amazing pin point throws, he's throwing to his WR 7 yards downfield who is burning our LB, any QB can do that.

Ben should've been covering Allen, that's Ben's fault, where have you been.

Yes there were blown calls by the refs but again and again this team has a piss poor coaching staff. Rivers had pressure in his face on most snaps. He is great at getting rid of the ball quickly. This is how Brady or any other good QB kills us every time. Not having a CB on their best WR is just foolish. At the half MT though the game was over. We have crappy coaches period.

A Tomlin apologist. I wonder if Ike Kelly will show up on this thread and disagree. My guess is he won’t.

We saw bad coaching and poor clock management from the Tomlin man...and it cost us.

Seems like Coach feels left out and jealous of not being the attention getter.

I’m no MT apologist. Tale of two halves. First half was a good plan, execution. Chargers adjusted, we didn’t in the second. No excuses. Officiating on the other hand impacted this game’s final outcome. Anyone who saw the game knows it. One interesting comment by an observer on the network. Pitt had a penalty thrown on every fielded kick (and even one fair catch). Yet they missed to illegal blocks on the punt TD, which was right after the apparent hold on Big Al, that cost us a big screen pass to Conner. Super Dave nailed it in another post.

BTW, to make you feel wanted again Coach please to explain us about clock management in this game. Your utter lack of understanding is amusement to the board.

That play you keep going on and on about where Hargrave should've got home and Rivers made a great throw. The LOS was the 35, Allen caught it at the 30, that's 5 yards, and you blame Hargrave for not getting there? He couldn't get there any faster.

Any QB huh. Any Qb can make those throws. But its ok Ben missed a wide open WR on a busted coverage.

AB was hit and forced out really vance drops were all would be tough catches. Would i like him to make them hell yeah.. YOU CANT EVEN SAY BEN MISSED HUNTER WIDE OPEN AND THOSE POTENTIAL POINTS WERE NEEDED. AND THATS WHY WE HERE NOW CAUSE YOU AND OTHERS TOOK OFFENSE ON ME SAYING BEN MISSED A LAYUP THROW.

Where did i say Hargrave was to blame i said Rivers made a good accurate throw with a defender in his face. Kudos to him. Weve all seen other Qbs make less accurate throws in that same situation..

LMAO you can't even blame anything on anyone but Ben, AB got hit, the catch by Vance would be tough, he had both ******* hands on it.

And any QB should be able to hit Hunter for the TD..for points we ended up needing which was all i said in the first place. No pressure and wide open..

Again, Brees, Brady, Ryan all missed much easier throws this past weekend. Yeah we need Ben to hit that pass, but we were still up 23-7 at halftime.
Chargers adjusted we didn't, there is zero disputing that.

And a player all over him..could of been PI. The play im talking about wasnt tough at all. He was wide open and there was no pressure. Thats a play that must be made..

This loss doesn't seem like a coaching loss.

Boswell misses an extra point
Ben misses a wide open Hunter
Refs miss an obvious motion penalty on Bolts first TD
Ben throws sloppy INT in field goal range
Refs miss obvious block in the back on punt return
Davis knocks game over INT out of Hadens arms.

Not sure coaching has any impact on all those plays. Steelers seem snake bit.
See. This is the logic I use. I know Coach Tomlin takes heat and his staff too, but these HUGE THINGS are what we should be debating.

But go ahead, clean house in the FO and be prepared for the Valley of Transition...

Offense ties the game at 30 with 3 mins to go, the defense has to make a stop, that is a play that must be made. Nope let's use our ILB to cover their best WR on 3rd down because it's worked so well
