I have a question

No doubt. Maybe once to try and mix it up on an early down I can see. But the whole damn game? Sadly nothing will change.

Wait.. I thought you had to cover the other team's best WR with ILB??

We were doing it in 3rd and long situations lol...

With Bostic on the final drive. I'm just floored by this, I can't get over it.

I think that was the only time Bostic actually saw the field. What a great time to bring in the slowest LB on the team. Some of these coaching decisions are mildly disturbing.

How many times was AB or JUJU covered by an ILB tonight, I'm asking for a Head Coach, errrrr I mean I'm asking for a friend.

I think you might be asking what the benefit of this abandon the run thing is. That would only be realized if second and third reads are consistently and accurately thrown to. For some reason I recall an episode of Seinfeld where George said that he always wanted to pretend to be an architect..

Steeler fans watching Mike Tomlin throw a challenge flag:

I was good with the challenge flag on the catch for the first. I saw evidence on film and was sure it would be re-marked. I wanted that challenged.

Not mad at the challenge. But for this teams sloppy play year after year after year after year?

yeah

How could that spot challenge possibly be won. There was no hash mark or yardage line nearby for a point of reference. What were they going to use - an off colored blade of grass. That was the dumbest challenge ever. But it didn't affect the outcome.

Imagine if we went an entire game with the opposing defense covering AB or JuJu with a linebacker.. no adjustments.. just tried it all game long.

Holy smokes... we’d drop 70..

That same scheme has done this in how many games now?

There were no points of reference? You have to be kidding me. There were two or three camera angles on it, and it was an obvious first down from the public feed. What do you think they look at when they are looking at that Surface?

You will never get a spot overturned in the middle of the field unless there is a yard line or hash mark near by. I don't care if they have a thousand camera angles. That yellow line for 1st downs is not part of the review.

And add that to that 1st down they tried to give them that was further away that that football.

I missed that class. Did you just make that up?

It was only an obvious 1st down because of the yellow line they use for play by play. That line is not used for reviewing spots on the field (for whatever reason).

Regardless that play isn't the reason the team lost.

****** coaching, other ****** calls, and ****** defensive play gets that honor,

It shows the ineptness of tomlin and his staff. But it's not the reason we lost.

There were plenty of markings nearby. It's a ******* football field. And spots get moved all the time in review, and it has nothing to do with the yellow line on TV.

Not that he isn't inept. But on a close call, don't you really need to try to challenge that? If he didn't there would be people bitching that he failed to do that.

They stopped the game for the measurement. My initial reaction was challenge. But they would have got the multiple looks we did. So no you could not challenge that. Didn't effect the outcome.
