Besides that, the team had a fairly dominant performance on offense and the defense held up ok. This game was all about turnovers and points off of them. Those turnovers are on the players.

In fairness, they HAVE put together a pretty impressive streak and it was completely unrealistic to assume they would continue it all the way through the season. Indeed, that may have been detrimental as they'd be riding a wave of extreme confidence into the playoffs.

I will be watching the San Diego game with great interest.

The Saints might have nothing to play for. So that isn't an L yet.

As for the Pats, I'm not ready to crown their ***. They've looked run-of-the-mill at times this season. And, if not for the James play, the Steelers beat them last year.

I was more focusing on who I thought was a win, not that they would definitely lose to the other two.

Bigger challenges they seem to be less sloppy. So I am thinking they split those two games. We'll see.

And admitted publicly he saw the defender, had the option to sidestep and chose to plow forward.
Grimble is a chooch that doesn't get a lot of reps and was looking to make the Vance McDonald stiff arm highlight reel.
Grimble AND Conner abandoned fundamental football ball protection that cost the team.
I'll flame Ben as well. In the closing seconds of the game needing 7 points just to tie, are we going to admit this team couldn't get that rock over the goal line on the ground? This O Line that has been touted as one of the best in the league didn't have it to push the Broncs fat ***** two FA-King yards?
C'mon man.

We need a QB that isn't trying to force the ball to AB. That's when he gets into trouble. Take what is there. I know you want AB involved, but if Juju and McDonald or whoever is open because AB is doubled, then AB is involved. Tired of watching Ben force passes to a double covered AB just to stroke that guy's ego. Team is running out of time to win.
 
Being in Denver has a BIG impact on a team when they visit. Yeah you can get there early or show up for game time but it sucks in every way. I went to Denver automotives for Diesel engines and I was sick from day one till about my second week. It hits bigger guys harder then smaller. But yes that last endzone pass was for ****, rushed and he had another shot if he threw it away.

We'll be alright.. The Steelers usually do better when they don't have a bye week anyways.
 
I know we want a bye, but just by winning 2 of our 5 games it forces Baltimore to win 4 of 5 to win the division.
They have at Atlanta, at KC, at Chargers and Tampa and Cleveland at home

This is true, but the last play, there wasn't another option. Brown was the only possible target on the play. Conner and James blocked as did JuJu. Washington jogged a half route. Just a bad play design and worse execution.

Should have ran it on first down instead of throwing the fade. Should have ran it on second down. Then if they want to get crazy go 3 or 4 wide on 3rd down. If we're at the goal line they better have Rosie Nix on the god damned field.
