Paris Climate Agreement Exposed As Total Sham: Trump Proven Right Again
Flashback to the literal implosion of leftists and radical environmentalists following President Donald Trump's 2017 announcement he was to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Agreement on climate change Obama signed the nation into.The media frenzy that ensued was unparalleled as many claimed unchecked air and water pollution would soar, humans would suffer and die from climate-related illnesses, and of course, it was all Trump's fault.
But all the uproar from the President's withdrawal from the Paris Agreement was just noise
A new report was released by an organization called Climate Transparency, which focused on the top G-20 nations and looked closely at the actions of the individual country.
The process included investigating the latest emissions reports from 2017 along with 80 other indicators such as “decarbonization, climate policies, finance and vulnerability to the impacts of climate change.”
The study revealed that none of the G-20 nations had made pledges that came remotely close to being in line with the intentions set by the Paris Agreement, which based itself on a United Nations-declared minimum adequate levels of CO2 emissions that would limit the “catastrophic” global warming.
So even if all of the G-20 nations had met the pledged CO2 reduction of the Paris Agreement, they still would not have met the goal of reduction to meet the far lower level of CO2 as set by the U.N.
On top of that, the study found that most of the G-20 nations weren’t even on track to meet the meager CO2 emissions reductions they had pledged themselves to.The study specifically called out the European Union as “not on track to meet its 2030 target” — as well as Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Mexico, and Turkey.
