Protocol is a process:
First you're diagnosed, and if you have a concussion, you're placed in protocol.
This means you can't practice until you are symptom free
Once you clear practice you must still be symptom free
The next day you report to practice you must be symptom free to start practice,
If you are clear to practice a second day, you clear protocol.

First practice since the injury is today. We'll know by tomorrow if he has cleared protocol. The status will be kept on the injury tracker on the sticky in the football forum.

He’s 6 of 7 sets to clearing it the way I understand it. Can’t talk to media; but he practiced today—not concerned.

It’s the “over-kill” and he wasn’t knocked out the way Burfict did Antonio in 2015. He’ll be okay, but time to start monitoring snaps

And I liked how the coaches were limiting his snaps on a short week. Ridley and Samuels were used early and often, even before Conner was concussed. I hope it continues.
 
I watched the game but forgot to tape it. Anyone want to clue me in as to what play caused the concussion? Or was it off camera?

I think it was 3rd quarter, he ran to our left, didn't gain much, looked like the defender went helmet to helmet, the announcers didn't say much, but it wasn't long after that he went in the tent, I think he left the game after that play

I think that was it too. They showed him grimacing on the sideline for a shot afterwards and that was about it.
