AB thinks he is Jeff Gordon

Somehow, someway this tarnishing of the league brand must be punished....likely with a one game suspension vs the Pats.

In his defense 100 ain't that fast, in a nice car barely cruisin...I was passenger in a car clocked going over 140 and accelerating (driver lost his license for a year).
 
Don’t you lose your license if you are caught going over 100?
 
That is all he can get t up to !. Probably getting a heavy foot from sleeping behind the wheel..LOL

Eh, he was driving a Porsche. You could get one of those up to 100 and still stop for the next red light.

I've had a couple of them (and his is a faster model which is probably suped up too) and you get to 100 from 60 in a sec or two........it's insane

I went to a racing club one time and the owner (who was a pro) said to the minions "what you have to realize is aside from some minor alterations the car in the showroom IS a racecar. It's made to be pushed" 100 is nothing really......I got up to 150 on the PAturnpike and it scared the **** out of me. You go by the cars like they are going 15.

Exactly. Is it safe. No. Is it easy and fun in a car made to do that yes. While I don’t have anywhere near that of a car, my ‘15 mustang pulls to that 100 mark quick as **** and stops on a dime if needed. There is a 1/4 mile stretch from a light I do every day to the gym. When it’s open, its put to the floor. Quick way to get that adrenaline going. Again, not safe but fun as ****

Again, getting drunk is fun too but I’m not going to defend drunk driving.

It’s patently absurd that a .08 BAC gets you thrown in jail, but going 100+ in a 45 gets you a summary offense. The later is significantly more reckless than the former.

No one is JUSTIFYING his actions - but suspension and a night in jail are excessive. Period the end.

**** you , 30 driving a 100 MPH on a city street puts other people's life at risk. I could give a **** if he kills himself due to his own incredible consistent stupidity. but he will not end well after he retires, will be broke and stupid in 5 years .

It wasn't like he was flying through a school zone with kids around. He's driving a high performance sports car with world class braking that can stop on a dime on a non residential street with no other traffic around.

When he retires he will go into the hall of fame as a Steeler legend and you'll still be here hating on him like a little *****..
