Thank God, Ravens putting Jackson in the mix

As mediocre as Flacco is, they can win games with him based on the defense and special teams around him. In 2016 they were 8-8 with Flacco. 2017, 9-7 with Flacco. If Jackson is the quarterback for the season...they could slip to a 5-11 type of team or worse. And they would have to stick with for while before pressing the re-set button.

My guess is Jackson is that raw, and the Ravens will have to stick with mediocre Joe for another season, perhaps yanking him and turning him into their goat once the playoffs are out of reach.

That was why Flacco having that postseason he did when he did it was a mixed bag for them
Yeah he won a super bowl, but it inflated his worth 8 to 10 million per season

Thats the cost of retaing or getting two average players instead of a couple stars... his contract gave them no wiggle room to resign guys and their bad drafts gave them no cheap young talent.... Flacco needs a rick solid line, a deep threat and a real good possession reciever a star RB and two great Tes....oh and a good defense....

The super bowl often comes down to which team has the better historical QB. One caveat, the other team has a very good defense. I hated this super bowl. Do I for the 49ers to catch us in Lombardi trophies, or the Rats.

Flacco beat Kapernick who has a career regular season record of 28-30, and turned in a very good performance into far more $$$ than he was worth. The Ravens defense had guys like Reed, Lewis, and Ngata playing. Ray Rice running it before the law caught up to him, and a very good Boldin catching it. You could argue if the Police were a bit better, Ray Lewis would be playing in the Atlanta penal league. Ray-Ray " lost " the clothes he was wearing the night of the double murder. Hmmm.... and he obstructed justice.

they are last weeks news.....move on to the next game

So let me get this straight: As soon as a game is over we should all stop talking about that game and only have comments on the next game?

That means if I track your posts you never have thoughts on the game that concluded immediately, you immediately move on to only talk about the upcoming game, right?

Let me see if that's true.

If this were true, then it must also be true for the Steelers: Ben only makes $1 mill a year less than Flucco.

All before 2008 dude. Last decade he actually drafted worse talent than the Cleveland Browns. 1 star in the bunch. Mosley. That is it.

So now you get to totally ignore the best years of his career and only chose to focus on less than half of his career?

You must be playing with the flabby moma gord flapper. Your logic is cracked. It always has been.

NFL is short for

Not
For
Long

You want to zone in on a decade ago It is silly for the here and now.

And no Cope's logic hasn't always been cracked. But your posting on the other hand....

If you don't have anything else to offer besides insults hit the road.

You don't get that luxury being a non contributor.

Oh nice, double standards. How convenient. I never insulted a single person on here who didn't start it. Not once. Cope started the insults, look it up.

Same with you: You take your cowardly little pot shots and then wine if you get any back. Weak sauce. I would expect more honor than that with someone who served the military.

Oh, and I maintain: If you are going to make a blanket statement that someone "sucks" you shouldn't be able to cherry pick their entire career and disregard excellent performance
that doesn't fit your "sucking" narrative. That is intellectually dishonest, and, quite frankly, cheap and fraudulent.

You may want to keep that in mind then when at one point in Mike Tomlin's career, his playoff record was 5-2 w/ a Super Bowl win and another appearance. See how that works?

I said Cope I didn't mention myself ********. Nothing cowardly about me I can dish it and take it.

But so far you offer very little to nothing. And posters like that don't last long.

You can adjust or don't adjust. No hair off my back either way.

But when you go at Cope I am going to come at you, just the way it is.

You can like it or not like it. Want to be on equal footing?

Contribute.

My argument is simple. Ozzy isn't a mastermind. He was great early, and drafted superbowl winning talent. But each year the draftniks yuck it up saying what a great draft the Ravens just had, and Ozzie is the best ever, and he's simply not. He's actually been the worst GM at acquiring talent for the past 10 years. That's what I'm hanging my hat on.

Also, didn't know my words were insults to you. Thought you had tougher skin bro, but hey, you can go back to try and negatively ding me all the time with pitiful insults like you did 2 personalities ago. That worked out well...

I called you out on being intellectually dishonest, because you were. And, wow, if Ozzie has been the worst GM in 10 years, Harbaugh must be a flat out genius, because he won a Super Bowl while having to field a team by the worst GM in the entire NFL. In case you forgot, Balt. won a ring in 2013. That is amazing, and only 5 years ago. And you said Ozzie has been the worst GM in TEN year, so Harbaugh coached a team smack middle of those worst 10 years to win a ring. That's never been done before.

It's 2018. The last 10 years would have been from 2008 until now. So winning a ring in 2013 must have been the best coaching job in the history of the NFL. Imagine, having to deal with the worst GM-ing in the entire league, right in the middle of his 10-year worst decisions on personnel, and STILL winning a ring. Harbaugh deserves to make the Hall of Fame from that achievement alone. What an incredible job, for that organization to overcome a decade of the worst GM/personnel decisions, and STILL win a Super Bowl. Somebody better tell Kruger, Webb, Oher, Cody, Jimmy Smith, Upshaw, Elam, Author Brown, CJ Mosley, Jernigan, Humphrey, Torrey Smith, Yanda, etc. that they are all horrid players. It's a good thing you are so much better of a talent evaluator than Ozzie is; which team has paid you millions to make player decisions? Did your judgement lead to a team's winning rings?

I hear Flacco is walking wounded, I think everyone will get a close look at Jackson real soon.

They'll be drafting early this year if Jackson gets much playing time unless the defense and special teams play lights out. He is not an NFL QB. All that running around in college won't cut it in the NFL. I've never understand that fascination with drafting running QBs that can't read defenses and aren't accurate passers. They never make it in the NFL. They never "Revolutionize" the position no matter what these talking heads say.

The last thing I am is dishonest. The one thing I am is dismissive, because I don't respect your opinions. They are tiring, lame, and lack substance. That's the difference between me and TMC. TMC cared what you thought. I do not. I enjoy discussion, I'm not married to my opinions like you are. I put in the time and research, and you just spew opinions. Benign, disingenuous, and vapid...

yup he won with the talent he drafted before 2008 in a year after 2008. Great job. Want to know why they haven't won since? No new talent. And none of those players mentioned made a pro bowl after 2008, and some of them are off of the team. Way to go genius. Still lack reading comprehension. If you prefer for me to keep whooping you on this point, I will happily oblige...

You still lose your argument. NO PRO BOWL TALENT AFTER 2008 other than Mosley and a FB. Ozzy sucks so bad, he could be the GM of the Pats...

if any team should of taken a chance it was the jags they had nothing to lose with a total bum at QB.

Why did you copy and paste your ****? nobody cared the first time you posted it.

The more you are around the more I see you have one agenda and one agenda only. To troll. And you might think it is amusing. But you come across like a idiot, you patriot loving twatwaffle.

Ha! Great example. "I called you intelectually dishonest, because you are" HA! Way to strengthen your nonexistent argument.

Way to list that great group of non probowlers, instead of listing the probowlers Ozzie drafted prior to 08 Reed, Lewis, Flacco, Rice, Ngata, Suggs, you know, the core of his superbowl team? Not that list of never-rans that are still enjoying their average to slightly above average careers around the league, if they're still in the league!!

And thanks again for proving my point, that Harbaugh isn't the problem. I think he's a good coach, that now has to coach without drafted talent. Ozzie sucks, I hope he works for the Pats next season, so their drafting can get even worse than it is now!!

HAHAHAHHAHAH!!!!!
