Panther week

The STEELERS seem to be hitting on many cylinders. The offense has been lights out and the panther D is going to have to play lights out to give their offense a chance to keep up. Our D is coming around but last week was against a weaker offense than they will be facing thursday. I feel our boys in B & G are up to the task. I read that since our win streak we have been the #1 defense in the nfl. Part of that is the TOP our "O" has demanded of late. Our chances are VERY good and I can't wait.

This game will test the run D as the black putties are one of the better teams in regards to this.

Their only 2 loses are to ATL (who can play well from time to time, inner-div. etc.) and to Skins, who have a decent record themselves.

They have beat TB, Balt., Philly, NYG, Cinci, Dallas.

They are 11th in ppg on O.

And 13th in ppg on D.

In other words, all things considered, they are a pretty solid team. If you REALLY consider who we have beat so far this season, IF we beat the Panthers, it will be the best team we
have beat so far this season. So, if we lose, it won't be a shock. They are the best team we have played other than teams we already lost too (KC).

The Steelers better bring their big boy pants, or we lose.

Who is going to stop McCaffery? He is taylor made to hurt us. None of our LBs will be able to keep up. This is exactly why we sure could use a healthy Shaz.

Carolina leads the nfl in rushing yardage NOT by a RB...Cam...oooh, Cam.

Cam and Li'l Mac...gotta slow those guys down. Need to contain and pressure Cam and gang tackle whoever comes out of the backfield for dump offs..

OOooooo Panthers have a real QB, Steelers can't beat a REAL QB...

If Steelers lose: See they can't beat a real QB

If the Steelers win: Cam isn't a REAL QB, he's more of a running QB. Steelers should beat him...

Really gettin old dude, I've figured out your tired, retread formula...

We put cam under pressure like previous week win win.

**** mr or mrs

JAMES CONNOR got his yards against a pretty stout "D" last game so I think he will get his yards against this "D" also. I think our O can beat their D and if our D can limit them, which I think they can............win win win

If I'm not getting home until 1:00 am tomorrow, the Steelers better play well and win this game.

****** right, Panthers week. We roll on the Hokies. There is no “Panther week” for the Steelers. Da ****?

34 to 27 good guys

Cam folds under a heavy pass rush. The downside is that their OL has been every bit as good at keeping him upright as ours has been at keeping Ben upright. The D has a job on their hands this week and the offense may need to bail us out of this one.

The Panthers are playing the Steelers at Heinz Field. The Steelers have Ben at quarterback. The Panthers road record is 1-2 with only 62 points in those three games (20.7 PPG). When the Panthers come up against a team with a decent quarterback or Offense their PPG on D isn't so great - 31 each against Atlanta and New York Giants and 28 against Tampa. As you say they are a solid team that wins the games any team with playoff aspirations should win, but nothing in their record (apart from a convincing win against Baltimore) suggests the Steelers should have any reason to be scared of them.
