Bells Agent throws the race card out there for how his client is being picked on. ************ 90% of the NFL is black. what a dumb ***.

“It’s always interesting to me when players make a hard business stance they are vilified, and deemed to be greedy and irrational and whatever, and there’s a little tinge I think associated with black players doing it,” Bakari said. “It just sounds different when I hear some of the critiques. It feels different. I’m not saying that is definitely the case, but you very rarely hear [the critiques] when the Tom Bradys or Aaron Rodgers of the world take a very hard stance as it relates to their value.”

BTW Rodgers nor Brady held out...

Now I see this picture a bit more clear. LevBell is just plain dumb but Bakari is just plain ******* ignorant and dumb.
Race has nothing to do with any of this. My God the Rooney family is so far removed from being racist it’s not even funny.
They are one of the finest owners in all of sports and offered the man a very fair contract. If he’s being advised of or it’s his own decision to forfeit 855,000 per week that’s on him. He’s just forfeited close to 7 million dollars for seven games missed and counting.That’s more in 7 weeks than the average man regardless of color of skin makes in a life time of work.

Well
I can only speak for one fan yours truly and race never entered into it. And judging from my years on this board I’ve not seen anything insinuating race when it came to LevBell.
I think if this had been a white player that did the exact same thing as LevBell he too would be criticized by the fans just as hard.

The Steelers are so racist they hired a black coach who has been here since 2007. Nice comparison, I would take Brady and Rodgers over Bell any day even though we don't need a QB. I guess his agent feels like you can put any number down on paper and you should pay it. Especially when they are asking for the world. Not like he wasn't offered a nice contract.

I think someone knows he backed his client into an unfavorable corner with the fans not showing up and using this tactic for fans to feel sorry for him to accept him back with more open arms. All he has to do is read this board to read how the majority feel about this whole ordeal.

That is a great question........We can ask "ark"when he gets his first paycheck but on paper zI'm guessing you are right but that is pending on which 1/2 you get............................................... Might not always get the second half. If you get Jack you know he might be nimble and he might be quick and some folks might want him to jump on their candle stick................ NOT saying this is "ark's" case or not.

And Bell was offered what AB made. AB hasn't had a dime removed from his contract, because he shows up and plays hard. The Steelers don't **** their players. Over time, they are one of the safest teams to play for, since they play nearly all of the big contracts they set. I say nearly, because they offer new contracts 1 year before their current contracts expire (2 for starting QBs).

You see Cope, for awhile there the talking heads acted as if the STEELERS didn't offer him much of anything. They also lumped the STEELERS in with most other teams as to how they do business / contracts and anybody who knows anything knows the STEELERS give their plays ample opportunity to full fill their respective contracts. not only did BeLL ask for way more money but also upped the anti as the negotiations went along. TOP that with the way BELL wanted the contract was asking the STEELERS to change their entire philosophy on contracts. So here we are todaY WITH A over-self-valued RB who is taking bad advice from his agent who seems to have a self promoting cause. Unfortunately BELL, not the STEELERS, but Bell has worked his way into a no win corner.
