Bell might not return in 2018, advised he won’t be paid while on exempt list

Sounds good. Make it happen Bell. Dont give in to this type of play by the Steelers. Also Bell. Think of all of the new material you will have to write your songs.

ONLY use a different designation on the tag so as to be able to trade his *** or NOT match a potential teams offer. Get what you can and get rid of this CANCER once and for all. His not showing up would be the BEST scenario possible.

You that feeling when you KNOW that you overplayed your hand with a stack of chips on the table? That was me in Vegas last year and that is Bell right now.
 
He should have come back in time for them to trade him. I absolutely hold him out and don't pay him for the 2 weeks and then I probably let him ride the pine just for spite so he rots until he finally gets to play next year for someone else. Maybe, just maybe, he will never regain his old form. That would be a beautiful thing.

The way he has handled all of this puts a bad taste in a lot of fans mouth. He is a Top 3 RB and probably deserves what he is seeking, but it's not happening here. I don't think he's overrated, he's just irritated a lot of us.
 
This is the epitome of one stupid man with his agent not too far behind.
So now don’t report and you forfeit the entire 2018 season, lose 14.5 million dollars that you will never recoup no matter what you sign in the future. And the Steelers can still own your silly, stupid *** for the 2019 season because you forfeited the 2018 season. This guy and his agent are real mental midgets. Geez!

If he sits out the whole year we just transition tag next year and let him and his agent find a team to pay him. Then the Steelers work out compensation. Also we will have an extra $14.5 mill to spend. Can Bell actually be that stupid though to hold out the whole year? The only thing that would be even more stupid is if the Steelers actually dont use the transition tag on Bell and just let him walk.
 
Thanks for confirming Still. Steelers are anything but stupid. I think they want to get the max return and won’t let him just walk. If LevBell holds out entire year he’s completely misinformed on how this works or he’s just plain stupid.

ow great is it to see the Steelers stand up to bell. After Rooney said they would not trade him it is nice to see them say hey Bell we still have one card left
 
Would be interesting to know what his agent is advising him. Wouldn't be surprised if he is telling him one thing and Bell is making his own decisions.
 
What is the date when he has to sign and report "or else" the Steelers retain rights to him for next year too?

That's the day he shows up.
 
Am I the only one who suspects that Bell might walk away from the game entirely? It’s obvious that neither football or money is that important to him. He has already forfeited a lot of both.
