Steeelrs can climb into first place without playing this Sunday.

Doesn't look that way now but still have to wait to see how it unfolds.

Glue your eyes to the CB position, whatever they do there in the next month will more than likely show its hand on how the season will unfold.

Even with a major upgrade at ONE CB spot, would that equate to us being able to stop KC or NE? I'm not so sure. I'm not "throwing in the towel" by any means, just saying.

So, I get a text from Steeler fan friend this AM. It has screen shot of div. standings, showing us in 1st.

"I'm so excited! I am all rainbows and unicorns. I am so happy!"

I responded "I'm not all that excited about 1st place in Oct. and a 3-2-1 record."

Sorry, it's not a real reason to be so ecstatic. It's better than a losing record and all, but not by that much. As of now (and I know things can change) I don't see us getting by Pats or KC.

us....

When was the last time we saw the best team after 6 weeks win anything?

There’s always someone that starts hot. They can never sustain it

I think you have to go all the way back to last season, when the Eagles started 5-1, finished 13-3, and won the Super Bowl.

Look around the league. No one is stopping anyone. You get a defense that can make just enough plays so your offense can outscore theirs. I've watched a ton of arena football, and the NFL is now looking very close to it. Even picking up some CFL tendencies. But it's tough to emulate those leagues perfectly since the WRs can't get a running start at the snap of the ball.

Really?! I don't know any Steelers fan that would use that phrase. Maybe DoucheBags, I guess. Well, and Coolie. But I don't think either of those "people" talk to *'s fans

i see one ****** on this board teetering on being delteeted.
and not just ark this time.

Chiefs were also 5-1, scoring 42, 27,24,29,42 and 13. The 13 was against the shittiest coach in the NFL handing them their first loss of the year.

so many people unimpressed with being in first place after 6 games. I think those same people were saying we were ****** a few weeks ago at the bottom. Being at the bottom 2 weeks ago, should be less predictive than being in first today, right?

Maybe the Ravens and Bengals aren't as good as their records made them appear?

Ravens are legit on defense. Their offense is a potpourri of check downs, running plays, and lobs downfield. Shut one aspect down and they have trouble moving the football.

Impossible. Hue Jackson didn't win any games last year.

Cope nailed it. Rules have been constantly changed to the detriment of defensive players. Heck, we can’t even figure out what is/isn’t a legal tackle. Commish has wanted more offense and points since being anointed. Scoring points keeps the average fan’s attention, but waters down the game. It’s kind of interesting that WRs haven’t been given that ability (forward movement before the snap), since it would undoubtedly cause more offensive scores/drives.

I'm with you on this one Ike, it's only a matter of time before the moving start is appropriated to the offense. I would even venture to say that is happening within the next three years. Fantasy Football is what it's all about and the "rog" will do anything to keep that happy.

And that's what gets me on fantasy stats. Move to the College OT rule, and you can start racking up on extra points!
