It's pretty clear most everyone agrees some sort of coaching change is needed to awaken this 'obviously' lackluster team.

The Steelers, on the other hand, are notoriously averse to change, especially mid-season.

The question is, who here thinks the Steelers will actually make a move these next few weeks? Again, this poll isn't what you want to happen, but what you think will happen.

While I don't think the Steelers will do anything in-season, I do think that some major staff changes will come after the season....not sure what at this point.

I normally would say the steelers wouldn't make a drastic move. However, MT has been here for what 8 years now? It's not like he just got here. So it's not like we are pulling the trigger after a couple years. I'd say 8 is well above nfl avg. second, look at a third year without a playoff birth with a franchise QB is unexceptable.

Not only do I think the coaches go, I think Colbert does too. Full broom action. My only problem is, who takes these empty seats? Is the grass greener? Hmm

As much as they do need to make some moves and right now, I don't see anything happening until after the season. And, I would be shocked if Tomlin goes at all.

Pretty much Nail & Hammer.

Salute the nation

The only way they'd dump Tomlin mid-season is if they found a picture of him butt-******* a goat. No chance of that because Tomlin would give the goat a 10-yard cushion, obviously!

I don't see the Rooneys firing any of the coaches mid-season.

I suppose it's possible that Tomlin could fire some of his staff himself during the season, but to what end?

After the season, I think it's possible that Lebeau is encouraged to retire. I think he'll be the scapegoat for the season.

Tomlin is probably safe, sad to say. If Tomlin is spared, I give Haley at least a 50/50 chance of sticking around.

Tomlin is not going anywhere.

LeBeau will be gracefully exiting after the season. Not now.
Haley will finish the season, as well.

everything will happen after the season. Whether it is full titanic mode or only Haley and LeBeau

If its not, we are really ****** for several years to come....these 8-8 seasons could easily become 3-13 or 4-12 seasons. "Well, we got what we asked for.....changes !!!!"

Right now id say smash on LeBeau and Colbert and give Mike one or two more seasons.

Lebeau needs to go definitely need a new perspective on D. Question is what happens to Butler. Seems be was basically promised the D cord job, but how much different will the D be with him in charge? Also the Lbs do not seem to be improving much under him anyways so I would be hesitant to retain him.
I am iffy on Haley, but if he goes so be it. I would keep munchak, maybe he could be O-cord.
Tomlin definitely needs to go, and I am iffy on Colbert. Without knowing who is pulling the strings in draft day its hard to place blame on the poor drafts.
I do not see any changes mid-season though.....

It depends if you mean what I wish to happen or what I think will happen.

clean house - it's a toss up over which is most stale, the offense or defense.

get a college coach, a new staff, and fire all the talent evaluators and scouts

for a start

Why? Please name one thing he does well. HE is the head coach. 2 more seasons? Are you kidding me?

;) I think we get a sense of what people wish to happen....I wanted to gauge how many people believe such a change would actually occur.

edit- and the results thus far are shocking (if people replied honestly) as more than half believe a coaching move of some sort will occur in the near future. Wow.

To do what take an 8 and 8 team to 2 and 14. This guy is not getting it. I had hoped that this would be the year he has his breakout season as a coach and the time spent for him to develop would be looked at as time well spent. Sure does not look like it now. Had the team been losing close games due to some great last minute play or a close call it would be one thing but for a number of occasions so far it looks like we were never in contention as the end got close.

In truth all should be gone asap.

Coach Cliche, this won't get it done

Listened to coach cliche's press conference "If you will"
You make it sound like this Sunday was an anomaly. It wasn't. Your team has played one complete good game Stunk twice, blew a lead against the top 5 worst teams in the league. Squeeked by the worst and damn near blew a 24 point lead. Grow up. Maybe your cliches will baffle the media, who won't really question you, but for the vast majority of us it is worse. Make some bold changes in personnel and coaches. To do less would be mailing in the season. What do you have to lose. 8-8 should get you and virtually everyone on the staff fired. If it doesn't, then it is on ownership. What a joke. Talk is cheap. Keeping Haley shows your intelligence Mike.

No matter how badly the team does, I'm never for in season moves. Haley and Lebeau will be gone at the end of this season with Tomlin on notice for the next season. If this team spirals at the end of the season as I really believe they will, the pressure from fans and the sponsors will be too great for the Rooneys to protect "token" Tomlin for long.

It looks like Three Point Todd should have kept renting that house he got sued over last year.

Colbert should be the first to go.

I voted for Haley to go. There is ZERO chance they will clean house DURING the season.

With a new OC, MT can say he tried to right the ship.

I don't think anyone is going anywhere unless LeBeau decides to ride off into the sunset. I still voted for all, I just think it's time to catch up to what works in this era of the NFL.
