Contact by Justin Hunter was perfectly Legal.

I still can't stand Al, but yeah that was clearly a legal play.

Just remember this is “legal” when the Steelers play the Patriots.

Or when the Patriots play anyone else. In fact, the Cheats run picks that directly interfere with the defender who's directly covering the receiver, unlike the AB play where the defender wasn't even covering Brown, but was directly engaged with Hunter within a yard. Ever wonder why receivers with mediocre athletic ability like Edleman, Amendola and Hogan put up big numbers there?

Half Tom Brady’s career yardage is on pick plays. It’s the staple of the pats offense. It only gets called PI when it is blatant that the WR runs directly into a DB without even pretending to run a route. And it will never get called right at the line like that.

ok, so why aren't other teams/OC's mimicking exactly what New England does within their offensive concepts??

Well we ran one similar on that winning TD. And I am sure there is teams that try it to some degree.

Pats usually have those quick short area WRs which would work well with throwing out picks.

Brady's quick release helps as well.

So other teams don't have one or both of those options.

And then you have to worry about your WR making initial contact, and being called for it.

Pats have been caught holding a **** load of times (by fans/announcers), and still sit 32 in penalties called against.

So they have no fear of running questionable plays...

So, what, New England holds a monopoly on quick, short-yardage receivers that excel in those types of plays? There arent any left after the patriots get their pick of them? Tom Brady is the only QB in the league with a quick delivery of the ball?

"well uh, see Uh, what had happened was.... "

that is what you got from all that I wrote?

k

It basically was a combination of everything. And no I am sure there is no team that meets the criteria of the whole list. You throw out a rebuttal perhaps it is you that has the burden of proof. As in you name who you think could pull it off and why.
