Anything is better than Burns. If a team was giving away a blind dude missing both arms; I say we trade Burns for him. At least there is a viable excuse there and he’ll probably make more tackles.

PP would be a huge upgrade. Might even help us hide the fact that we cant cover anyone over the middle.
The cap hit for Peterson this year is $14,956,965. Were this to happen (pie in the sky because the Steelers just don't do this **** even when Burns Toast is out there) does anyone know if we need all $15M in cap space or would it be pro-rated for the games that the Cardinals have already paid him for?
I think it would be pro rated, Plus the Steelers could always redo / restructure his contract. It isn't like he is locked in with a tag.
There are teams who want Bell. But you would only want him if you are contending. Why would the Cardinals want Bell to help them win two extra games this year. Get a worse draft pick in the spring and leave. Not happening. They will want picks for Peterson.
I was thinking if they wanted to improve their faltering running game. But you get the feeling with them they already mailed in the season and only want to stock draft picks. So we probably would have to give up a pick for him over a straight swap. (Probably just wishful thinking on my part sure)
You would think though they could recoup that pick by trading Bell.
But I think Bell has other designs. Like signing after the trade deadline.
Regardless with Ben's run nearing the end, I would be ok with just giving up the pick for Peterson.
Because we know what we have with Burns and Sens. Simply just not good enough, not to be liabilities.
I just have a hard time giving up firsts. I don't think this team is going anywhere, so you take corner in the first and he is 1.5 -2 million for the first 4 seasons.
Oh I didn't read anything on what they were asking. Did you read that somewhere, that is their desired want?

He kinda doesn't seem 100% back from a major injury... he kinda isn't running with that burst, nor can we kinda predict if he will fully recover.
