Ben or Tomlin, only one will be here in 2015

I'm pretty sure Ben when motivated is a way better QB than Palmer. He has a lot of DILLIGAF right now because we lack leadership from our coaching staff.

When have the Steelers EVER cleaned house with the entire coaching staff? Not in most of our life times.

One of or both of these scenarios should probably happen, but let's face it, neither will. This is the new normal for us now. Get used to it.

I guess I could understand running the living **** out of the ball for a full quarter if Haley had seen something in Cleveland's defense that made them vulnerable to play-action. It's kind of tough to use a play fake when the backfield is empty, though.

Even with several play-makers, this offense has no identity, and no clue how to find one.
 
Both. We all know about Tomlin, and Ben seems to have become a bit of a coach killer on top of it. Not sure there is an OC out there who can make him look great.

How does YOUR ******* math work? Do you even proofread your own posts in your head? How do you go from "Ben sucks and must go!" to "We'll get 2 first round picks for him!"

It's on or the other fellas. You don't get both. If he's as awful as you pretend, you get maybe a 2nd, more likely a 3rd. Cause you make him sound THAT bad. Really, you do.

Haley made him look great the last 8 games of last season throwing quick passes to stop the sacks and we averaged 28 points a game. This year Ben reverts back to playing cowboy.
 
This team is in dire straights under this coaching staff. The Steelers were beat up on all the sports shows today and how the Rooney's can sit through this is hard to get. Do they finally come out and show their displeasure and get rid of Tomlin. On this site alone you get the displeasure of the fans, will be interesting Monday night if the stands are not full and how many Houston fans will buy the tickets. Does this finally grab the front office attention or do they do nothing because why they hired Tomlin gets in the way of the franchise future.

The front office will do nothing.
Although on the radio today it was pointed out that two years ago the Ravens fired their OC in midseason, most people thought they were finished (me included) and they went on to win the Super Bowl.

Doesn't matter who we bring in as OC, this team is NOT Super Bowl material. With poor drafts and poor resigning of veterans, Colbert and Tomlin have depleted this team. Yep, we have some talent at the skill positions, but the DL has pretty much been ignored and talent evaluation on OL picks has been dreadful.

Kubiak is a great OC. Awesome hire by them. Massive upgrade.
 
It's all about fundamentals and discipline. This team has neither. If they bring in a new OC, he will focus on discipline and sound fundamentals. He will also more than likely cut back on the offensive play book to make things as simple as possible. Then, in the offseason, changes to the overall O will happen. This is all purely speculation as I would be very surprised if they did anything during the season.
 
Until Tomlin leaves it won't matter if we had a young Bill Walsh as our OC.
