By: G.Stryker Each and every game has a pivotal moment where victory is decided. *Not always the game winning play, but a play that determines the outcome, and if it went differently, a different result could be likely. So each week we will explore the exact moment of drama where the game pivots on: As […]

Thanks G.

I feel that was the turning point as well and absolutely the biggest win game of the year. Our "D" found their grove and maybe the coaching had a little to do with that as well. I just hope they can continue in the correct direction.

Sadly, I didn't see the game last week. But I am so very happy the team played well enough in all 3 phases. I am extremely hopeful they play even better this week against Cinci.

When a ****** ball club plays an even shittier ball club...

There were some positives and a renewed energy and excitement. Now, if they can bring this each and every game day...that is the question. Historically they haven't.

I think one play worth mentioning that ended up NOT costing us in this game was the INT right before the end of the first half. On the play before the INT Ben had a wide open check down receiver and he forced the ball to AB which was also almost picked off. That last play could have been a throw away and then a FG attempt instead of a turnover. Those are plays that will cost us at some point and they need to be eliminated.

This is and always has been the way Ben plays, gotta score on every play. Does he make it work sometimes, yes he does, but he fails more than he succeeds. It is maddening, but he has never bought in to the live to play another down mentality. I truly believe that had he bought into this mentality YEARS ago, he may very well have a couple more SB rings and far more accolades heading into the HOF. It is what it is, and here is to hoping Dobbs or Rudolph are different in that respect.

I can sometimes refer to plays like that as a hidden play. I started a segment this week on that, and will release tonight. Fun stuff to think about!

But if he didn't play that way, would he even have the rings he has? His gunslinging mentality was the reason we won some of the playoff games on the way to those SB's.

Would you rather he play like Flacco? He's the epitome of a checkdown QB.

A-N-D is paid like an epitome. I'll take the BEN as is anytime.
