Time to say Goodbye to Mike Tomlin?

If the Steelers lose, we are 1-3-1, and the playoffs hopes are dim. This defense needs to be fixed quickly, so in a fantasy way we trade Bell once he reports we trade him for a 2nd round pick, have a draft that looks like this.

We need a better base 4-3, nickel and dime. Players who can rush the passer, cover and offer sideline to sideline range.

Round one DT Davis. A house of man who is also a playmaker, battle tested in the SEC. While Davis is likely a top 15 pick, 1-3-1 teams trend picking inside the top 15.

Round two ILB Wilson. A very active ILB vs. the run or pass. Davis' teammate at Alabama

Round two OLB. Gustin. A good pass rusher who makes a lot of tackles.

Round three CB Ourwariye. A tall corner who makes a lot if interceptions.

And by not paying Bell 14.5 million a year, we could have a very nice free agent class, so I pick up a RB and DB here

Sean Davis is doing a ton this year, and he's making plays. Get Hilton back this week with Davis and Haden, a lot of warts are going to fall off.

Not if they insist on not trying to pressure the QB with 2 DL. Baltimore while up 26-14 was still sending 5 pass rushers.

Tom is 100% correct. Football is all about numbers and you send two against five? 9 men in coverage playing soft zone cover three with the QB having all day to pick you apart? I've seen pee wee football defenses that make more sense.

That’s crazy! This team is loaded with talent. These guys especially on defense were productive players in college. They didn’t just all of a sudden start to suck. No this is bigger than that and it falls squarely on the coaches especially on defense. The defensive scheme is a total joke with two DL and rushing only 3. They have so many sub packages and different looks, these players look and are confused. No this falls on Coach Cool Shades and his sidekick Butler who have totally ****** this defense up.
Offense is loaded but play calling stinks. And Ben and AB are not in sync and he’s forcing ball to AB at times when he shouldn’t.

Production in college is no measure of production in the pros. Jarvis Jones looked great in college but was a total bust in the pros. If the entire starting defense was cut tomorrow, how many of our starters would start for another team - not second stringers, but starters? Heyward, Tuitt, Watt, Haden, and maybe Davis. The rest would most likely end up on someone's practice squad or as backups. The offense is loaded? Same situation - who would start for another team? DeCastro and Pouncey on the line, no one in the backfield, McDonald at TE, Brown and Smith-Shuster as WR, Ben at QB. That's it. Poor drafting and worse development has eliminated any talent advantage this team had.

I do like your picks, I'd be awesome if it worked out like that! I really like what I see in Mack.
