Annual trip to the Burgh this coming weekend for the Falcons. Obviously Twitter, this forum and social media in general are a dumpster fire in terms of our team. Ticket prices dropping like a rock, but there are huge number of out of towners such as myself who are all ready stuck airfare, tickets and hotel. I admit I woke up Monday and said how do salvage this, today its a bit better and at the end of the day, I am die hard I am am going to live and die with this team every week.. Tons of people on Twitter saying they are done.
Curious if you have tickets are you going or dumping?

I'm traveling from Houston to go with family. I'm not bailing out on this team even though I cannot stand Tomlin, Fichtner, Butler and Porter. All should be fired, but I'm still going.

Along that same note.....

Was I seeing the stands at the wrong time Sunday or were there a lot of empty seats. I would have thought that a prime time event against a hated rival would be a packed stadium thing but every time they panned the seats it looked to be only 60 or 70 % full.

Yinz that were there ?

Just have to separate your dislike for the coaches and focus in on watching one game in the stadium.

Not letting those slack ***** ruin my time.

Focus in on the players and hope for the best.

It is the hand we are dealt.

Maybe we can get lucky and get to .500.

I will be there Sunday cheering them on.

I usually don't drink, but think I will have a few pregame warm ups.

:bounce::bounce:

62k on Sunday 6k no shows.

After halftime it looked like this:

45000 in the stands and 23000 gone home!

And this was with game still at 14-14..

WTF?

The yinzer crowd has become as disinterested as the Steelers it seems...

I was there. The stadium holds 68000 and 62000 were there so yes several empty seats. What got me more than anything was the Steelers sideline, it was like no one wanted to play together or try to rally back, ben stayed to himself and didnt hardly talk to anyone and the rest of the team did the same. I had on field passes and was on field from the time the gates opened until the game started and I didnt see ben throw a warmup pass at all. Imo this is a problem I think he should get out there warm up with the team throw some passes get into it but he wasnt at all. I think this is why he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn at times.

I hear ya man..

This team has fallen apart from within..it is obvious.

Personally...I have been taking advantage of it by betting against them this season...and plan to continue that...

No way we can keep up with Atlanta's offense...especially with our pathetic defense.

Like I said...easy $$$

Yeah being from Vegas I had the Steelers in the last leg of a couple of parlays and teasers, I typically dont hedge with the Steelers but as game time approached I hedged them all with the Baltimore moneyline for good $$$. I agree from a betting perspective our team is a fade right now

I'll be back again this weekend. Got to pick up my car anyway (since I just dropped a new transmission in it).

Slash, KTW, you going to the SN tailgate?

Enjoy your weekend....Maybe it will be the start of a long winning streak.

I wonder how much his elbo injury had to do with this. I've seen him warm up plenty of times in pre-game.

Salute the nation

Cope- is there a specific Tailgate for this site/members, If so tell me where? or are you talking about the one at Stage AE?
We usually do Bettis or Tequlla Cowboy
Just look for the tall middle aged dude in the JuJu jersey with the short redhead in the Shazier, lol

Hienz Field crowds are old and casual. Not the rowdy stereotypical Steelers fan.

That's cause everyone goes down at half time to piss, get food, or beer and it takes so ******* long to do any of that. So that's why no one makes it back in time for kick off. I got in line after we scored to tie and didn't make it back to my seat until right before kick off of the third.

We have a tailgate for all SN members. It's at the Red lot 5 garage. We have a banner that will be hung up. We're right beside the north side entrance across from the Clark Bar.

I've always said the Steelers fans that attend games on the road are louder and more rowdy than those who attend games at Heinz Field. Steelers fans at Heinz Field tend to leave midway through the third quarter even if the game is still in doubt. Like why are you leaving so early? Did you forget to turn your oven off at home? Good grief!

Thanks for the tailgate info, we always get off the T at North Side Station, so know where your spot is. Planning on stopping by. Attitude is much better than earlier in the week. Lets do this

I was surprised you did not her some boo's from what was left in the stands. Time Tomlin as well as the team hear the displeasure in the lack of commitment this team has shown tis year.

after 4 games only game we with the crappy 245 D were getting good pressure vs tyrod, at times vs Fitz we got good pressure but good vets will not be fooled we need to incorporate some form of 4-2-5 like
re Dupree
NG heyward
3T hargrave
Re tuitt
LB watt
LB Fort

There were a ton of boos last game. The O, D, and refs heard quite a bit.

No, you're right. That has not only to do with the hatred many fans have for Tomlin and their futility but economics as well; the NFL owners have pushed their greed too far. Just think how much it costs to go to a game these days.

Not going to the game, but I am pleased to learn the game is on tv in my area. It's also the first weekend in three weeks that I am off, so it will be an NFL Sunday in my living room!

Hoping the Steelers shrug off this bad start and play up to their potential.

HERE WE GO!!
