How the F' did they do worse than Todd Haley

Quit bagging on Bubby Brister. Wasn't used properly.

Maybe Ben didn't get along with the Toddster but statistically he and the offense weren't our worst problems.

Life After Ben is coming. Just wait. . . this place will really be entertaining then.

Keep in mind that Ben has already played two more seasons than Terry Bradshaw did.

We have ZERO 1st downs on the first drive of each game this year. That is all on coaching and the horrible game planning Tomlin and Fitchner devise and sign off on. Defense, offense and special teams are all a mess under Tomlin, he is the constant over the years, he is an imbecile. Great to finally see what has been holding us back for years and years.

On D there has been DC change, but same **** show still in place what is the common denominator? Mike Tomlin

There has also been OC change, but we continue to see the same **** show there too. Common denominators? Mike Tomlin, and Ben.

Are we not sure that Ben is not given a couple plays each down, and he is picking the bad ones? I am not sure that is the case, when going no huddle, we don’t see that. Could it be that MT has his hands in the O also?

Agreed, my point is they didn't care what Ben thought then, why would they care what he thought of Haley.
True. The offense seems to do better under OC's that Ben doesn't like (Toddster, Whisenhunt) than ones he does like (The Bruce, Fichtner).

Arians did well with a poor offensive line. We won the super bowl with him as the OC

Fitchner was Ben's hand picked choice...

Tomlin agreed to promote him to appease Ben, and hopefully rid the team and himself of the Ben/Haley drama at work everyday...

We won the Super Bowl because of a lights-out defense and the fact that Tom Br*dy spent the '08 season on IR and the Pats***** did not make the playoffs.

The lack of chemistry between Ben and AB is bizarre. That shouldn't be something that just appears, I wonder what's going on between those two.

Ben's most off target passes have been to AB. Seems like Ben has been much more accurate when throwing to Juju and the TEs. Makes me wonder if it's not more on AB's side. QBs throw to where they expect the WR to be, so it could be either inaccuracy by the QB or a route issue with the WR. Probably a mix of both, but something ain't right. If only we had a crew of multi-million dollar coaches to figure it out.

Of course Ben is trying to force it to Brown and its just not working like last year, he needs to be more patient without Bell and take what the defense gives you and look at other options. How many times Has Ben thrown to AB into double or triple coverage on important 3rd downs?!

Offense needs to look at other options because teams are NOT going to let AB beat them!

Meanwhile, typical Steelers play calling, use the TE early, watch him tear up the field....then never use him again as they go bombing for "big plays"

I personally think the biggest offensive constant is Big Ben. He runs the plays. If he had a problem with them, the'd have changed them by now.

Forcing the ball to AB is nothing new. Ben's always force the ball to him even in tight coverage and it's always been in a spot where only he could make the play. Ben's always had some inaccurate throws, but I agree there's been some plays that look like they fall on the receiver for not running the right route. No matter what it is, the players and coaches need to fix it.
