I've seen the arguement said both ways, the I'd rather watch this night or that night. Which night is best condoned for Football???

I don't have any official stats but you actually have two ERAs of football in these night. Back in the "football" days, Monday Night was the high light of the week. By far the MOST dominant game watch of the week due to national televised. There wasn't Sunday or Thursday night football. They had 1/2 time high lites of all the previous day games. It really was amazing for those of you who don't Remeber those days.

Sunday night over took Monday night due to NFL promotion.

Thursday night football became a GREEDs thing by the NFL. It started in a back doors sort of mode and soon was realized the cash cow it became. It thrived for awhile durring real football rules. As time / rules / protest(s) became the norm, Thursday night football lowered viewership / importance ect. (That could be said across the board for NFL)

will the NFL ever gain the O'l glory days of a superior product or will it remain watered down and depleted as current product. I don't see a resurgence of any kind back to actual "football" as the game was meant to be played. I do see the fantasy football growing to a point of sustaining the NFL greed machine. Combine that with the fact more states are in the progress of leagalize going sports betting, GREED will drive ratings up.

Either of these NIGHTS are eroding and I see players / viewers points of view. MONDAY is a way easier on the players night to play, THURSDAY is a ratings way to sustain a product. I very seldom watch either unless my BELOVED SteeLErS are playing.

What say you.....................???

Don't care for Thursday football except on Thanksgiving Day.

Thursday night football is not natural. Monday night is the traditional feature game of the week or at least its supposed to be. Thursday is all about the almighty ******* dollar. The league skull ****** the players with this Thursday night contract. Its a bad deal for the players and to be honest I don't watch it unless the Steelers are playing.

You're probably right on the fantasy/gambling thought. And to hell with the purist aspect of the nfl, it ain't coming back under the this commish or these ownerships. Look no further than what justifies a penalty now.

I don't watch Thursday either for reasons mentioned.

The player's don't like it. Why not move it to Friday night?

For most of the country, Friday nights belong to the high school games.

And Thursday is only relevant if the Steelers are playing.

Very true ZonaBurgh but if you also look at the rest of the country and their HS football, the kids aren't going out for football in the numbers as in the past. At one time I thought I'd read over 25% drop in the last 3 years and trending down. If that keeps up, many will have friday nights free to drink and carouse and cause political trouble.

Thursday games is so the NFL Network can make money directly with it's own product. IT sucks. I do like the NFL Kickoff game on a Thursday, I also love Thanksgiving having 3 games as well. What needs to be done is having 2 teams playing the Thursday of their bye week. Then you have fresh players for that Thursday game, and they get a little extra time off before the next game. Ideal if the league truly cared about player safety, which they don't...

**** thursday night football.

I like it gives me something to watch or at least have on in the background. Plus its fun to play 25 cent fanduel / draftking games for that one game.

all the NFL games, should be played on Sunday.

**** Monday and Thursday.
