Why not pad his stats....he's gotta get 5 rec's a game ya know! Who needs a winning streak when you have WR with the most games with at least 5 rec's in a game? I'm all about stats vs winning football games!

You don't bring in a new coach when firing a current coach during a season. There would be an interim HC who would likely come from the current coaching staff. The new coach would be hired in the off season, and likely clean house.
 
Brilliant first half.

Incredible offensive scheme, tremendous defense, superior special teams, disciplined display of football, superb effort.

Oh, sorry, I was watching the Ravens destroying a horrendous Tampa team, in their park. The Steelers? The exact opposite of every point referenced above.

Terrible game planning, horrible execution, lousy special teams, crappy offense, completely undisciplined, continuous drive-killing penalties, dropped passes, and the famous "Mike Tomlin looks like a 5-year old kid lost in the supermarket" look.

I was going on your question if he was canned half way through the season. Munchak would be the gap filler until the real search happened at the end of the season.

Why do we always throw down and out? We have speed and we don't use any of it across the middle. I guess we left Heith at home today. This half sorry to say shows what type team we have. We lucked out last week and today when we have Cleveland sleeping we let them wake up. Cleveland attacks, I don't see it in the Steelers. Wheaton where is that break out year? Archer you can't make it to the 20 so stay in the end zone.

Say what you want about Cowher and his conservatism but he knows how to build great teams. Minus QB's but hey that's changed.

Lol, if they hold the Browns under 50 , that will be a huge victory for the d .

As for offense .....I can't see them scoring a td . FG.....Maybe if the Browns fumble at their one .

The sad thing is other than aging at the saftey position I think everything is fixable with just minor changes. I think we need to let someone else call the plays other than ben or haley.

Not good. The Steelers just are not disciplined enough to avoid destroying themselves. Their propensity for penalties, dropped passes, and generally lousy defense means that they are not capable of mounting a comeback.
