We haven’t done anything right since going up 21-7 vs Cleveland. This team is far too talented to come out like this in a must-win game at home

Make no mistake - this is not Kansas City destroying us nearly as much as it is our team playing like unadulterated trash in every phase of the game

If there are not major changes after this **** show, I will concluded that nobody gives a damn

Aggie, nothing has changed in the last five years. What makes you think today's fiasco will change anything? Even if we come back and win - which I highly doubt - this team has been exposed as the pretenders they are.

I would be okay with axing the entire defensive staff, Scrap Bradley included. The Butler regime has been a failure and there is no other way around that

Butler is not running that defense. That is Tomlin’s Tampa 2, and his 2DL that he used in Minnesota. Butler has nothing more than a job title
 
The only constant regarding the terrible pass defense, and the inexplicable refusal to play more man schemes, and the endless passes to wide open receivers over the middle of the field, is Mike Tomlin.

D-coordinator changes. D-line coach changed. Tomlin remains. Defense still sucks.

Tell me what you notice here ...

Lebeau leaves here and the Titans run more man than any other team, and we run more zone than any other team. But, but the Tomlin apologist say Lebeaus zone must go.
Butler comes in and we run the same **** defense we have been since everyone wanted Lebeau gone.
DC's change, players change, scheme still dumb and the same. That's why anytime you see Tomlin get a unit together and get on them it's the defense.
That's why when there were coaching changes last year, the DC didn't get fired after that horrible **** show in the playoffs, because Butler just has a title, Tomlin runs that defense

Tomlin is the main man he should be blamed. This defense is just bad giving up the points in two games. We continue to have the same bad play in our secondary and then watch coaches patting them on the back when in all reality they should be on the bench have a finger in their face. Yea I know it is an offensive league bla bla bla but watching the coverage of KC in the secondary and the tackling technique they put the Steelers to shame. If it was not for a few great catches and extending the play for Ben by Jesse it could have been much worse. Time for a shake up with the talent WE feel is on this team, to bad the new Rooney can't see this or will not make the changes needed for the Steelers to win. I watched brown action on side lines and was totally disappointed, what he thinks because he is on Maddon everything need to be dictated toward his wishes. On the two yard line he is mad because he is not the man, Conner's gave it his all to get a TD when so many times Brown has no room in the end zone to make a play in short yardage. What is more important to this bunch..stats or wins,, his actions answered this.

1) Bostic is a disaster in coverage. Play Thomas. Our coverage underneath is terrible.

2) there has to be a better punter. Pick one of them, Berry sucks and with this defense we need a punter.
I don’t care if he’s an older vet or in the cfl.

3) if possible sign and trade for Bell.

For the love of God, the Steelers cannot do anything to get Bell to sigh the offer. Even if he signs in week 10, nobody is trading for a player for 6 games that will be a FA after the season. Finally, how does trading Bell this year do ANYTHING to make us better right now?
 
the D staff should have been axed during the off season, not i would be fine if butler was fired now. however we all know that is not reality.
 
Fouts pointed out an inredible stat today. The Chiefs had as many points as snaps at one point, 42 each. The ease in which they destroyed Tomlin's defense is just as alarming as how many times they did it.

Better stat Mahomes had more tds than incompletions
