Geopolitics are glacial, so your progressive views seem new, novel and enthralling. But the economic rules, military strength, etc are all still dominant.

No matter how much you want find new ways to burden the populations to meet your "social" goals, the past two years demonstrates that removing government from the economy is good for the majority of the people. Still. Like it was 35 years ago, like it was 65 years ago, like it was 120 years ago.

He is vying to be the state’s first openly gay member of Congress.

Bernie Sanders, who as a fellow New Englander is popular in New Hampshire and won its 2016 Democratic presidential primary by more than 20 percentage points, did not endorse his son.

He said in a statement early this year that the family does not “believe in dynastic politics. Levi is running his own campaign in his own way.”

Lowest jobless claims in 49 years!

It’s been nearly half a century since layoffs were this low.
Initial claims for state unemployment benefits, a proxy for layoffs, fell by 1,000 to 204,000 in the week ended September 9, the Labor Department said Thursday. Economists had expected claims to rise to 210,000, according to Bloomberg’s Econoday.

The four week average of new claims, considered a better gauge of the labor market because it smoothes out week to week volatility, also fell, declining 2,000 to 208,000. That is also at a 49 year low.

People remaining on the unemployment rolls for more than a week, fell by 15,000 to 1.7 million. This is the lowest level of continuing claims since 1973.

A new survey provided to Secrets said that 72 percent of blue collar workers and 76 percent of white collar workers are optimistic about their future.

What’s more, half feel that it would be easy to find another job if they needed or wanted to.

President Donald Trump delivered a double fist pump as he walked away from Air Force One on Tuesday, en route to a 9/11 memorial ceremony at the Flight 93 crash site in Shanksville, Pennsylvania — and while a number of critics immediately attacked the move as “disrespectful,” one National Guardsman told The Daily Caller that everything was not exactly as it seemed.

“The POTUS landed at our Johnstown flight facility, a military installation owned by the Reserves and the National Guard,” he said, “and, well, prior to his arrival, we were allowed to gather in this designated area to greet him prior to his boarding a helicopter and flying to the Flight 93 memorial service.”

The service member, who asked to remain anonymous, told TheDC that the double fist pump was a greeting to the gathered crowd, which included a number of members of the military and their families and supporters.

“As he approached us soldiers, marines, and airmen, many were shouting and waving at him. That is when he did the ‘double fist pump’ — he was genuinely happy to say hello and shake hands, and you could tell he was proud to be greeted by ‘his’ military members.”
