Looking like Florence will run it’s way up the Ohio valley straight into Western PA.

Well, at least the team knows what to expect and has played in those conditions already...

They say Florence might hover over the Carolinas for awhile, so the worst might not get there until after the game.

One of the announcers on CBS this past week called Ben "the best bad-weather qb" in the league, just before the opening kickoff. That was, ironically, followed by the ****-show that we saw.

That CBS announcer was none other than the "The Bruce" Mr. Arians.

I like Bruce, but he's very soft spoken in the booth.

Yup, go back to worrying about the game and not us fans sitting smack in the crosshairs of the storm.

This is the football board. He's simply posting a Steelers-related weather update. Everyone is concerned about the safety of our fellow fans, just go to the Concession Stand and see the thread titled "Florence".

He had his moments....

Maybe it slows down number 10 (KC)

(looking for silver lining)

You expected more on a Steelers discussion board?

Over there at the Concession Stand, I will care.

Here I'll tell you to buy a canoe and take pictures.

Try not to be so sensitive enough of that in the world already.

I was funning with him a bit. THus the little wave emote. Are we not allowed to have some fun here?

I was kidding around. Hardly sensative...just poking fun. Apparantly the Wave Emote doesn't convey that well.

No biggie...

Game is in Pittsburgh though so we will have “home Ben” meaning we should be fine.

It’s “road Ben” that stresses me the hell out. My mind is completely blown how his home/road splits can be *this bad* for *this long* and not even remotely be addressed in any way

Its hauling pretty good at wnw at 15 mph. They almost never hover when they hit land. They speed up. But who knows for sure until it gets close.

I seem to remember that one of the rare times Cleveland beat us when when The Bruce had Ben throwing every ******* play in -30* wind chill and followed that by saying, "We don't let the weather affect our gameplan".

Of course we like to have fun here. Venture into an "Ask Drunk Cope" thread when you see one. And gotcha, no biggie.

I was at that game. Ugh...

Uh, no. You obviously weren’t in Western PA for Ivan.

Harvey hovered, backed up, did a loop and still crawled it's *** away from Houston last year....took days

Uh yeah I live in Florida. I don't sweat hurricanes in the least. Just get your *** off the beach and out of flood zones and you're good. Ivan wasn't much by the time it got to western pa. Not by hurricane standards. Maybe tropical storm level with a **** ton of rain. The only thing I ever worried about in western pa was tornadoes. Had 2 of those tear through our farm before. Now those scare me. That freight train sound you never forget.

Yeah that one was a *****. They do move fast on land more often than not though. The direction is a crap shoot.
