No leadership, no winning culture.

Hey, everyone is. But with 6 turnovers, including 5 by a QB who knows better, they we're lucky to get a tie.

combined with a TE that let the ball slip through his hands causing the INT -he should have known better

Combined with a head coach that puts BigBen on the sideline in preseason with a sign that reads, " do not break glass". In this aspect he is living in his fears. As your knife isn't going to be sharp with one swipe.

Slash, we talk about patterns and history repeating itself often around here. Funny thing is that Ben seems to get a pass when it comes to his history. Let's be honest. Today isn't the first time Ben has had issues with ball security. Hell, it may not be only the 10th or 15th. Tomlin coached teams have a history of under performing against inferior teams. Incidentally, Ben has a history of being loose with the football against those very same teams.

I am not giving Big Ben a pass. In fact I think he was the biggest reason for the tie.

But part of the reason for that suck was his lack of playing time in preseason.

I am simply saying that blame gets shared.

1 Big Ben
2 Lack of preseason playing time, rusty *** knife. And yes that is a pattern. Preseason to preseason to preseason...

I figured the game would be close, but definitely not like I expected. I thought the Browns offense would be much better and I obviously thought our offense would be much better. Ill give this game a pass due to the weather

Can't give the game a pass when we had a 14 point lead with 8 minutes to go plus possession of the ball.

13-3 last year. The most dangerous opponents are bad teams on the road.

Yep.. I figured this was going to be a loss.

We suck out of the gate
We suck against bad teams

Until we have a change at the helm this will continue. Not complaining because I'm tired of banging my head against the wall. It's just reality..

Now we see what this team will turn into once the good Ben is gone. And he's close to gone.

I saw that Ben had 40+ 4th quarter comebacks, mostly under Tomlin, and Boswell is usually money. You got that right, both win a lot of games for us, despite bad coaching.

Today neither could bail us out of turtle ball vs a Qb who can't pass even with a 14 point lead.

You remain a treasure...

As soon as the game started I looked at my buddy and said... well we got bad Ben today, get ready for the dumb **** to happen.

You can tell pretty quick if he’s on or if he’s off.

Today his diaper was filled and he never got a clean set of jammies.

Up 21-7, Conner fumbled got Cleveland back in it, he played great, but his lack of securing the ball got Cleveland back in the game.

The Ravens and Bengals are ahead of us, and the Steelers are tied for the last place with the Browns. This tie sure feels like a blown loss.

Yet another example of a Tomlin coached team failing to beat an inferior opponent who will surely end up with a losing record

Jesus you guys really make me ashamed to be a Steeler fan sometimes. We overcame a **** ton of adversity mistakes and refs to tie a game we had no business being in after 6 turnovers and the bad calls, Tomlin kept this team up and their heads high right to the end. He cant be faulted for the turnovers that blame is squarely on the players in this one and they still played their ***** off today. I am proud of the way we handled ourselves in this **** show of a game and week of drama. Quit be ******* spoiled *** fans who don't know just how ******* good we have it. It is why other teams hate us so much as fans we whine way to ******* much.

Soo...Tomlin told Ben to turnover the ball 6 times? Haven't you people talked all offseason that the O was going to be better because Hayley was gone, Ben was going to have more freedom and be calling more of his own plays.

I'd like to say you couldn't have made a dumber post. Past history and the current rantings make that a lie

Ryan Fitzpatrick threw 10 more passes in preseason than Ben.

Drew Brees threw 9 total passes in Preseason.

Some people need more practice. Ben is definitely one of those people.

Ryan ******* Fitzpatrick. 2 years of blaming everything Haley/Tomlin for everything even when Ben ****** up.....

Always something.

That is nothing new with Fitzpatrick. He will give you Brady like numbers for a few games off the bench. He has done that with a few teams over the last 8 years or so. Ben looks like **** whenever he has any break from football. It could be an injury or just coming back from the offseason. That is who he is.

Ok, fine. We know ben can have games like this. We give him a pass because we know how well he CAN play.

Blaming coaches for this loss is ******* redikerous.

The reason is because he didn't play much in preseason because coaches ****** up. It was easy to find 2 QBs today who played well today with minimal preseason play. Took me checking one game. There are others.

I'm told Bell started slow last year because he skipped camp. Ben was in camp, why'd he start slow?

WHY wasn't Dobbs used??? A QB with 5 turnovers should have been benched at 4, where was DOBBS or RUDOLF????

Salute the nation

With all the calls for bad coaching and Ben giving the ball away. We were still lined up to win the game and Boz yanked it.

It wasn't the rain
It wasn't the hold
It wasn't the snap
It wasn't the footing
It wasn't the wind
It wasn't the distance

He ******* yanked it.
