Was a ******* clinic on how you lose a football game to a ****** team. Somehow, some way, they managed to tie a ****** football team. They didn't deserve that result. They deserved to lose.

I read here all week how it was "just the Browns."

The Steelers looked a whole lot more like the Browns than the Browns did. ]

That **** was sorry. They played give up football from about 19 minutes to go. They were lucky to tie a team that had lost 31 of 32 previous games.

Steelers were brutal. I agree. But two points bear mention:

  • The game was a game only because the refs failed to call the fumble on the punt, with the Steelers up 21-7. They make the correct call, Steelers offense puts up points, and the game is over.
  • 5 turnovers on the road, and they still lined up a game-winning field goal.

12 penalties, 6 turnovers. Pathetic. They just lost to a team that went 5-18 on third downs, had 11 penalties, was sacked 7 times, and completed just 38 percent of their passes. The Browns are a really bad football team and this offense jacked around more than enough to give away the game.

First, it was six turnovers.

Second, while I agree the game turned on that call, if you are a SB contender, you should be able to over come that. Against the Browns. I mean, it was just the Browns.

Third, Boz missed that field goal. Who the **** plays for a 42 yard field goal in a monsoon?

What a **** show. No excuse. You are up 14 going into the 4th. No excuse.

I get the anger, I really do but the reality is that the game was played in a damn monsoon. Those type of conditions don't always paint the picture of what a team really is. It was a damn quagmire out there and the Steelers got some terrible breaks from the weather and from the refs on the punt that clearly touched the players face mask. It will be a long week on here but I saw an awful lot to be positive about from today's game despite the tie.

Change your tampon dude... the Browns are a better team then their record.

The last 4 Browns/Steelers games have been decided by 10 points.

Well, one positive was James Conner. Guy was fantastic, fumble aside. Every game he does well, hurts Bell. I mean, if a guy like Conner can do what Bell does in Pittsburgh, is it Bell, or is it the team? I think Bell will sign his tender and report after next game if not this one. He wants his $$. Not gonna let Conner prove that Bell is a product of team play rather than being Superman.

Steelers should have won that game but I put this one on 4 things.

1 Turnovers Conner and Big Ben in the most inopportune times.

2 Snail ball when you are up two TDs.

3 Penalties

4 Not playing Ben much in the preseason, I hate this approach and continues to show rust game 1.

This tie really feels like a loss..............

They played ******. They do every year early. . They need to play the starters more in pre season.
kudos to conner (sp) he did all that can be asked.

WTF to the refs on the steeler kickc off the guy :" downed" in the end zone where he stepped out of the back of the end zone.

**** you to ben for all the turnovers.

That's just it...it is not about Bell at this point. It's about wins. We need Connor to play good so we win. Not to hurt Bell. **** him.

When the coach realizes that he isn’t god’s gift and makes him work during the preseason.

Brady played more in the preseason looks good.

Ben doesn't isn't on the same page with his receivers.

Another bad (non)call by the refs was not calling a penalty when the Brown's DB called for a TO when they didn't have any left.

I hate blaming the coaching in this game. It was there to be won. That said, I don't know how you keep handing the ball to James Conner over and over. They knew it was coming. They loaded up for it and it caused a fumble.

Also, Garrett ate AV's lunch. Man, that was brutal. Just abused him.

Game one, browns we all ready knew were going to be a better team. We always come out stumbling with a coach lile Tomlinf who wants to be everybody's buddy. Unrest with L Bell and New O coordinator. Were We expecting 40-3? Fu@k No.

Sorry, typos. Big friggin fingers. You can like Tomlin but were pretty split bere on him but I hate a buddy coach.

Yeah, that was a ****** game. I didn't understaind why they didn't work Samuels or Ridley in, Conner was gassed out there, even before his fumble. Maybe they got away with playing Bell 99% of the snaps, the coaches needed to adjust, which they did not. We could have won this game with a running game in the 4th. Rotate in Samuels 6-8 plays and keep Conner fresh for the 4th. Didn't make any sense to me. Besides that, Ben was too loose with the ball, the rain didn't help. Sucked to start the year this way, but I'd take little or nothing away from this game. The D actually played decent most of the game, so there's that. Boswell missing a gimme game winner was as crucial to this as anything. Oh well, move on the the Chiefs.

If Sutton played the man instead of the ball, he could have easily pushed Gordon out of bounds. That was the wrong technique and it cost us a TD.

Yeah Sutton got bitched on that drive.

They might want to think about Coty for the next matchup....or at least rotate him in. Assuming Haden will be out 2 to 4 weeks.

I agree. Just pointing out that if Conner keeps doing well, then maybe Bell isn't Superman after all. Maybe the O-line, AB, Ben kinda help make Bell the "generational talent" that his agent pimps him to be. Maybe it isn't just that Bell is so ******* awesome. Or maybe Conner is just ******* awesome. Maybe we got two of them. Who knew?
