The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

Ha ha, splitting hairs, that's all you do. You guys should open up an SN-Trump barbershop.

The fact is, after spending the entire campaign criticizing Obama and harping on the fact he would be too busy to take time off or go golfing, Trump literally spends his entire weekends on his golf courses, usually taking off Fri to get a jump out of town. That's basically all he does is golf, hold rah rah rallies for his base and of course send out imbecilic tweets at all hours of the day. He's a ******* disaster.

But you desperately cling to the mirage that none of this is happening, that Trump is a statesman and a good President. Knock yourself out.

Wait...I post an article that rates your accusation a lie, and you accuse me of splitting hairs as you dissect this article to find something that seems to go your way?

Get the **** out of here Tibs, you're a looney tune.

He is beloved by Israelis, but not American Jews. Figure that one out.

Remember, there are few to no similarities between American and Israeli Jews. Raised differently, differing life experiences, completely different politics. American Jews are predominantly lefty Liberals. Israeli Jews are predominantly Conservative in our sense - religion, guns, defense very high on their list of life priorities.

Politically comparing American Jews and Israeli Jews doesn't work because it's akin to comparing an Ogre to a medical doctor, or an Ark to a socialite.

The Jews on the coasts are Democrats/Liberals first and Jews second. Anti-Semitism is on the Democrat side, plus the Dems side more and more with the Muzzies, but the Jews keep coming back for more.

Yep, and like blacks have always voted democrat.

Aside from what you and Tim said, another thing to consider is that many American Jews are really not Zionists....Zionists being Jews that believe in the existence of a homeland for Jews.

Not all Orthodox Jews believe in Israels right to exist as a country....yet. This is supposed to happen when the Messiah comes. In their view the Zionists are in violation of the teachings.

My theory is that this perhaps influences, and may be the deciding factor for the casual American Jew not to give a **** about Israel and go the route of the classical libtard…

With Kavanaugh on track for confirmation, Democrats regret triggering 'nuclear option'

With attempts to attack Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh’s record failing, Democrats over the weekend mounted a last-ditch bid to derail his confirmation to the Supreme Court by claiming that the vetting process is so bad that it demands a do-over.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota Democrat, expressed remorse that her party eviscerated the power of the filibuster five years ago, leaving them no path to stop Judge Kavanaugh, barring Republican defections.

Republicans brushed aside the complaints and prepared to welcome Judge Kavanaugh to Capitol Hill on Tuesday for his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee, where the fate of his nomination will be decided.

Can't wait for Kavanaugh to be confirmed. T-minus 25 days and counting by my estimate.....

And if Ruth Bader Ginsberg were to die in the next year.....which would be a terrible thing (cough), we might be doing this again soon.
Elections have consequences. Who said that again?

Bash Trump for hours at a funeral?

Bash Trump for hours at a funeral?

Not so different from the Sen. Pau Wellstone funeral where everyone talked about how good he was and how bad Republicans were, even if they had to make things up.

Yeah... the more I think about the last week, the more the funerals for McCain and Franklin were a complete joke and just about the people talking and not about the person that died. It was awful.

Hours before Kavanaugh hearings, Bush lawyer releases 42,000 pages to Judiciary Committee

Hours before the start of hearings on Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court, the lawyer for former president George W. Bush turned over 42,000 pages of documents from the nominee’s service in the Bush White House, angering Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, who issued what is certain to be a futile call to delay the proceedings.

“Not a single senator will be able to review these records before tomorrow,” Schumer (D-N.Y.) tweeted

Taylor Foy, a spokesman for Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa), responded that “our review team will be able to complete its examination of this latest batch in short order, before tomorrow’s hearing begins.”

A few hours later, a tweet from the committee said that the “Majority staff has now completed its review of each and every one of these pages.”

Bwah ha ha!!!! Run Lurch, run!

I see that John Kerry, the father of the now terminated Iran deal, is thinking of running for President. I should only be so lucky – although the field that is currently assembling looks really good – FOR ME!

Democrats move to adjourn Kavanaugh hearing, Grassley rejects motion

Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing quickly devolved into a farce Tuesday morning with screeching protesters and Democrats demanding the committee be shut down immediately.

“We cannot possibly move forward,” demanded Sen. Kamala Harris, California Democrat.

“I move to adjourn!” added Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Connecticut Democrat.

Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley shot him down, saying they weren’t even in executive session so they couldn’t vote to adjourn.

He also threatened to keep the committee in session through the weekend to finish the confirmation hearing if Democrats continue their interruptions and demands.

President Trump to chair U.N. Security Council meeting on Iran

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump will chair a United Nations Security Council meeting on Iran this month during the annual gathering of world leaders in New York, diplomats and U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley said on Tuesday.

The United States, which holds the council presidency for September, has unsuccessfully pushed the U.N. to call out Iran. Haley has regularly attacked Iran, accusing it of meddling in the wars in Syria and Yemen.

Judiciary Committee sets date for vote on Kavanaugh confirmation

Senate Republicans laid out a fast schedule Tuesday for action on Judge Brett Kavanaugh, setting up a Sept. 20 vote in committee which would be followed by action on the full Senate floor the final week of the month.

That schedule would put Judge Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court before its Oct. 1 start of the new session.

Our first Madam President. Can't wait to vote for her in 2024.

Jobless claims fell last week even further to a new post-1969 record of 203,000.
This is the lowest level for initial claims for state unemployment benefits since December 6, 1969 when it was 202,000.

The 4-week moving average, considered a better gauge of the labor market because it smooths out week-to-week volatility, fell to 209,500 from 212,250. This is the lowest level for this average since December 6, 1969 when it was 204,500.

Jobless claims have been closely watched in recent weeks for signs that trade disputes might weigh on the jobs market. To the surprise of many economists and critics of the Trump administration, jobless claims show no signs of stress from tariffs that U.S. has put in place or retaliation from foreign countries.

One thing very disturbing about that pic is that the guy on the far left looks like he is wearing a skirt and actually has nice legs.

Winning!

I read an article that of the 163,000 new jobs added in August, 70% of them are from mid-sized businesses. Middle-class America is cooking! (but you won't find that news from the MSM)

You won't find anything in the fake news msm about the Promoting Women in Entrepreneurship Act that Trump signed. No, no...that definitely does NOT fit the narrative.
