Great move by front office on Jones. Does he give you anything more than Rudolph or Dobbs? No. But they have higher ceilings at this point.
Surprise that Brian Allen and R.J. Prince didn’t make it. Probably try to sneak them on the PS but risky. I personally liked what I saw from Bucky Hodges and hope we can sneak him on the PS.

Wow...must say I’m surprised. But with both Ola and Thomas making it, I understand. They are looking ahead instead of being myopic with win now at all cost mentality. What kind of cap charge does Berne cause? Hope Allen passes waivers. He’s was catching on.

There’s this feeling the roster moves aren’t done yet. TE may be in the fold...need to check and see who got cut.

We still have to cut someone when Bell comes back, unless we send someone to IR.

That, and I really think Fichtner has been instrumental in this. Haley seemed so conservative (minus the 3rd and 1 bombs Ben would sometimes throw) and I think if he was still here, Jones would be as well. I think Fichtner is showing these guys he's confident in them and it's in turn making them so much more confident. I know that's speculation but I've never seen Dobbs look so confident as he did against Carolina. There's still a lot they need to learn and neither have ever even thrown an NFL regular season pass (:eek1:) but they sure as hell ain't living in their fears. I love it.
 
Maybe when they bring in Bell Burns will hit the road as well, I guess that is having Christmas and New years on the same day.

Good catch Scotty. Once he clears waivers he will revert back to the Steelers. Who will IR him. Doubt he can get a settlement.
