I was @ the game which was the perfect weather come game day. Nice and cool evening. Really enjoyable and of course anything that ends with a win is a good day.

Rewatched the game @ home to see if any of my opinions changed, they didn't.

The Good

The fans - for the ones who showed were enthusiastic, even had a wave going a handful of times.

Tuitt - Nice to see his early shine. Moving forward and into the regular season, I would like to see him keep to-it.

JaySam- I liked his vision and quick feet. I think this performance... between his pass catching and running locked him into a roster spot.

Conner - I continue to see his pass catching improve off of last year. I would have liked to have seen him break off a few of those touches for a better YAC. But still better showing than last year. And we welcome improvement.

Edmunds - Nice to see that INT, and you can see he is starting to get more comfy on the field.

Rudolph - Had a better showing. Would have even been better if not for penalties, iffy WR play, and at times iffy O-line play. Needs to work on his clock management. I also liked his shiftiness within the pocket. Arrow is pointing up obviously.

Vince Williams - He can make those splash plays.

Thomas- Making play after play, might find him a spot come final 53 cutdown day.

Adeniyi -Keeps making you want to see more. I am curious if it will be enough to stick on the final 53.

The Bad -

James Washington had a quiet night before sitting out with what looked like a minor injury. Still a work in progress, but I am sure he will keep working at it.

Big Ben was shaking off some rust. Looked like early he was listening to AwolNation with some of those errant passes. (think of the song, sail) But Big Ben still managed to get a TD out of Hunter.
Not alarmed or worried. But it did earn him a mention, not that I expect more of the same moving forward.

Brian Allen - I am not sure he shows enough to be anything long term. I thought he was a little slow on some plays.

The Ugly - the one fan I saw who didn't rise for the Anthem,he was teaching his kid well. He also didn't stand when they payed tribute to a deserving soldier. I hope the tool heard my comments. Just be respectful America.

WE need fan support, glad they where active

Tuitt - Nice to see his early shine. Moving forward and into the regular season, I would like to see him keep to-it.
For being injured last year I hope he can keep the injury bug away as we need his HEALTHY production.

If his participation can take "overly touches" away from our hold out, I'm HAPPY

Conner - I continue to see his pass catching improve off of last year. I would have liked to have seen him break off a few of those touches for a better YAC. But still better showing than last year. And we welcome improvement.
His "pass catching" may not be as good as BELL's but CONNER's running will suffice. He will get better with game action.

Edmunds - Nice to see that INT, and you can see he is starting to get more comfy on the field.
Maybe not a starter but I bet he is in several packages and plays 50% of the snaps

Rudolph - Had a better showing. Would have even been better if not for penalties, iffy WR play, and at times iffy O-line play. Needs to work on his clock management. I also liked his shiftiness within the pocket. Arrow is pointing up obviously.
You never know but JONES may be expendable by mid season.

Vince Williams - He can make those splash plays.
Extention for a reason

Thomas- Making play after play, might find him a spot come final 53 cutdown day.
I'm betting he makes the 53 and actually contributes heavily as rookie

Adeniyi -Keeps making you want to see more. I am curious if it will be enough to stick on the final 53.

The Bad -

James Washington had a quiet night before sitting out with what looked like a minor injury. Still a work in progress, but I am sure he will keep working at it.
I'm impressed thus far on his journey to 53, he'll make it and contribute heavily also as a rookie

Big Ben was shaking off some rust. Looked like early he was listening to AwolNation with some of those errant passes. (think of the song, sail) But Big Ben still managed to get a TD out of Hunter.

DON'T play him because he might get hurt is BULLSHIT mantra by many. He should have way more playing time in pre-season. Between 3-4 quarters worth, same goes for the rest of the starters. SLOW start to season for a reason

This is the new ME ME ME ME ME attitude of soceiety, don't make it right and I feel sorry for the poor fool who thinks he's standing up for his rights by disgracing himself in such a way. So those of you who know this is your right to protest, you are right to do so and in the way you chose but Remeber what country you are in and why you have those FREEDOM rights.

Salute the nation

It was business as usual on the tailgate. Our Steelersnation does us proud.

I have free parking but always ask around what they are charging up close. $40 ? Some of you businesses are greedy *********. Capitalizing off of our large fan-base.

You welcome for the posting, and sure later I will throw some pics up.

Hey, Slash, Nitsuj got my tickets, do you go to every game? Did you meat up with Justin at the SN tailgate? I do like meeting board members, and Justin has a nice spot in an easy to find location if anyone wants to meet up. I may ride out on Thu for the game.

I don't go to every game. So far it is that game and Falcons regular season one. Maybe one or two more games other than that.

Another view, the tool and his son bottom right.....

What about Bud? I saw him dodge an offensive player on Terrell's INT return, while others were making blocks. I've had high hopes for Bud (4th year now), but always seems to disappoint. He may be another Jarvis, Hood, ...

yeah that not so special team wasn't a good look for Bud.

I am hoping he can get few more sacks this year.

But I would be just as happy to see him get off some blocks against the run.
