I watched the half again with a focus on ILB.

I watched the first quarter again with a focus on ILB. Dirty Red or Bostic? So far my answer is I like neither. Bostic isn't very aware and missed a tackle on the Eagles back that lead to a big play. Dirty Red's a little slow and gets into the action too far from the line of scrimmage.

A 'little slow' is an understatement. I don't think Matatevich is a starter in this league. He doesn't have the foot speed or athleticism to handle the position. Bostic seems best suited to back up VWill. I hope Colbert is either 1). going through his rolodex looking at FA's, 2). preparing to make a trade, or 3). instructing Butler to start experimenting with Edmunds/Allen at ILB.

I will give Bostic the benefit of the doubt but Dirty Red is barely Vince Williams backup in case of emergency. Still a red demon on special teams though

Bostic looks shaky in coverage. I think he blew it on the first Eagles pass to their rookie TE.

Colbert should have draft an ILB player.

I watched some of Chuks Okorafor. He doesn't get much push and was beaten in pass protection. Will review Q3 and Q4 soon.

I think Bostic will settle in just fine.

One missed tackle isn't a big body of work.........

I hope that we aquire someone before the season similar to signing FAs late last year. PLEASE make a move upon final cuts........WE NEED HELP, but only if the right guy is there.

Salute the nation

I said in the spring, Dirty Red is a special teams player and that's it, anyone expecting more or wanting to give him a chance hasn't been watching

Just too limited athletically. You love his try hard, but teams will expose his glaring weaknesses as a starter.
