Will moving Bud Dupree to ROLB make any difference?

Was thinking same thing, it will help Watt more. Bud? I don't know.

would love to see him lined really wide as bud has great closing speed for a 6"5 260 OLB

the difference has to come from inside of him, the side won't help much

he has the skill to dominant he has to develop the killer instinc, and add in a swim move, he is quicker and bigger than Woodley but he hasa guy that just would brutality beat you physically

I don't care what they are listed at, Woodley was clearly bigger and far stronger than Dupree. As you said, he was able to use his physicality to beat tackles. Dupree doesn't have that in his game and must rely on his speed.

Dupree is physically superior to Watt but lacks his desire and football instincts. Unfortunately those two things cannot be taught,

Lacks desire? How do you figure? The guy wants to be good and has been training with pass rushing guru Chuck Smith for the past two seasons.

He disappears in games and just goes through the motions. Maybe he is training to try and get the stupid 9 million dollar salary for next year to be picked up. Nothing he has done as a Steeler warrants that much money for a guy like him who has shown nothing in 3 years .

I can get with you on lack of football instinct or talent, I just don't see it as a lack of desire.

Agree to disagree. I hope he turns it around but I have never seen a guy with less football instincts than this guy. That was the knock on him coming out of Kentucky and it has not gotten any better.

You can't agree to disagree when you both agree on two points. And I will have to go against you on desire, I don't see that.

What I see is a talented player who was raw when he was drafted. And sometimes the light doesn't come on for those types. Might be he just will never be a football instinctual player. Or it could be he just topped out talent wise.

I guess this year you will get the more accurate take on him. In a do or die situation.

Because let's face it not ever good NFL player starts out of the gates good. Sometimes the light comes on a little later than fans would like.

He at-least isn't on the Jarvis Jones level of suck, The option year leans toward that belief.

We'll see which way the pendulum leans.

Every one is all over Bud to do his job yet Burns a first rounder is the one who needs to start making a difference, Burns needs to make that big play that turns the game around.

Burns is included in the want for more.

That is

Burns
Davis
Dupree

these three need to not be a liability.

As well as Tuitt staying healthy.
