Will Shady get the Ray Rice Treatment?

Thankfully there was video on Rice. Is there any video here?

what is it with Buffalo RBs and their women?

more from ESPN:

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...s-lesean-mccoy-says-was-beaten-robbed-jewelry

Attorneys for the victim, Delicia Cordon, released a statement to multiple media outlets Tuesday evening saying Cordon was sleeping in the home when a male assailant entered the house early Tuesday and demanded "specific items of jewelry" that she had received from McCoy. There were no signs of forced entry, the attorneys said.

The attorneys' statement alleges the assailant bruised Cordon's wrists in an attempt to remove a bracelet and also struck her in the head with a firearm. The statement also alleges that McCoy previously made comments about wanting the jewelry back from Cordon and said she could be robbed because the jewelry was expensive.

"The preliminary investigation indicates that this residence was specifically targeted by the suspect or suspects, and not a random incident," police said in the statement provided to ESPN and ABC News. "When officers arrived they found one victim who had been physically assaulted by a lone intruder. During the altercation, the suspect demanded specific items from the victim."

hmmm, I'm not a Cop or investigator, but this all sounds like McCoy had some involvement in this. From the pics, I doubt she orchestrated to be beaten like that to frame him. You never know, though. Someone is lying and if it's McCoy, see ya!

per the court filing from his woman, one name is pops up. i'd think that may be a lead:

taking place on security cameras at the home, which show live footage on Defendant CORDON’s cell phone, Defendant CORDON called the police. Plaintiff himself was out of state at the time. 6. The police halted the removal of Defendant CORDON’s furniture and furnishings from the home on June 1, 2018. Plaintiff also has the electricity turned off at the residence. 7. On June 11, 2018, based upon the Entry of Service filed in this case, a deputy sheriff or Marshall served this action upon Defendant CORDON’s minor child, a 16-year old boy, on or about June 11, 2018. Said service of process was improper and invalid as Defendant CORDON’s son is a minor child. Said service of process should be quashed. 8. The instant action was filed by Tamarcus Porter on behalf of the Plaintiff, who has remained out of the state of Georgia at all times relevant hereto. Mr. Porter is a layperson. Mr. Porter is not a licensed attorney in the State of Georgia or in any other state. Accordingly, the instant proceeding should be dismissed. 9. Defendant CORDON should be awarded attorney’s fees and expenses of litigation for having to file this Motion and Answer in an amount to be proven to the Court pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 9-15-14. WHEREFORE, Defendants pray that:

(a) The service of process in this proceeding on a minor child be quashed;

(b) This action be dismissed because it was filed by Tamarcus Porter, a layperson, who is neither the owner of the residence, nor an attorney on Plaintiff’s behalf;

(c) This action be dismissed because it contains false allegations;

(d) That Defendant CORDON be awarded attorney’s fees and expenses of litigation in an amount to be proven to the Court pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 9-15-14; and

(e) That Defendants have such other and further relief as this Honorable Court deems just and appropriate. This 22nd
day of June, 2018. THE LAW OFFICE OF TANYA MITCHELL GRAHAM, P.C.

devil's advocate for Shady....

he didn't know. he was out of town. he'd been trying to end his relationship with this woman, and she refused to leave the house. he tried various ways to get her to do so, but still, she refused.

in a conversation with a friend, he divulged that he'd asked for jewelry back, even going so far as to tell his friend precisely which kind of jewelry it was.

his friend then either decided to take matters into his own hands or hire someone to retrieve the jewelry from this person, so as to gain favor from Shady.

Thus, Shady is innocent and had no prior knowledge of the actions that he's being accused.

I also have never had Shady on any of my fantasy football teams, so I dgaf about this.

Very possible, Supe or he had a "friend" make it look like a burglary, rough her up a bit to get his expensive jewelry back and her out of the house because it's "unsafe". Unless she is batshit crazy and made this all up, it doesn't look good for Shady. Until he is charged, it will be interesting how it plays out and the truth eventually is revealed.

if i was investigating this, i'd be looking into Tamarcus Porter.

Tamarcus sounds like a great guy. Also involved in Shady's nightclub altercation with off-duty cops.

Tamarcus Porter

Porter, 27, also goes by T.J. and played with McCoy at the University of Pittsburgh in the late 2000s.

A Florida native, Porter was dismissed from the Panthers in 2009 after pleading guilty to two DUIs in the span of a year, according to files from the Pennsylvania courts system. He transferred to North Alabama to play his senior season and never reached the NFL.

According to the incident report, Porter escalated the altercation Sunday by attempting to take a champagne bottle from one of the off-duty police officers.

This would also mean that Shady KNEW there were security cameras inside the home. So would his crew when cops showed up to stop them from taking the girlfriend’s stuff out of the house.

McCoy was already using the legal process to try to get her out. Seems unlikely he would all of a sudden hatch some robbery scheme in a home that he knows has cameras.

It could be possible that there is a dumb person in shady’s crew who wanted to score points as Supe described. Still, they would know about the cameras because of the previous time the cops were called.

I know her face looks bad but it’s not as bad as some think. The head bleeds like crazy. A small cut can cover your face in blood. Just look at boxing matches where a boxer gets a small cut over his eye and it gushes.

All of that damage could have been from a sinlge blow, especially if she was hit with a gun. This sort of thing has been done before where people injure themselves to scam money.

I’m not saying that’s what happened. I’m just saying that i would not count it out by thinking there’s no way she’d take such a beating voluntarily because that damage could be from just 1 hit.

Her attorney states that he removed the security cameras from the home. If that's true it sure doesn't help his case.

That changes things if he t0ok out the cameras. Still seems incredibly stupid since he already had lawyers on the case.

If Goodell follows his Zeke Elliott rules, then Shady is suspended no matter what. There was no evidence at all against Zeke. The cops didn’t believe the girl. The NFL’s own investigator said there should be no punishment. There were pictures of the girl bruised, but witnesses said that was from a barfight with another girl the previous night. Goodell still suspended Zeke.

Seems now the only rules are that if there’s a picture or video of an injured woman, the player is getting suspended whether he was involved or not.

yea, when it comes to a domestic case and/or money, all the cards are on the table and anything is possible. Doesn't sound like a stable situation from the start of it.

Well, he's got Richie Incognito vouching for him now. With friends like that...

the one article did mention security cameras inside the home, so maybe that's what the police are going through?

I hope there is.

why couldn't he just go into his house. Take the jewlry off her.. without hurting her.. etc. If it meant that much to him. And leave.

The notion is she didn't want to leave, and he was going to do whatever it took to make that happen.

Maybe consult a lawyer? That is if he could afford one.

From what I understand, he had lawyers working to evict her. Not sure why it just couldn't wait. Maybe the lawyers were getting too damn expensive.

The jewelry was a gift to her. He gave the young woman these pieces of jewelry as gifts. Now you think it ok to just take those gifts back? That speaks volumes to me about McCoy’s character making him sound like a real scumbag.
When you give someone a gift you never expect to ask for it back. At least that’s how I was brought up.
The guy sounds more a more like a piece of **** the more I read. Take a look at his track record. A real solid guy!

wasn't he the asshat stretching during the anthem last season? Not that these two instances are related in any way, but I lost a lot of respect for him after that.

A set-up? Woman pays a guy to beat her up and then blame McCoy? Hmmm, I seem to remember that tactic working

... and then NOT working.
