Todd Haley Showing Signs of Dementia

Lol. He looked like he just crawled out of a garbage bin.

He'd still be in there except his wife mistook him for a homeless person.................................... ONLY seemed fair as Todd mistook her for a HOE.................

I hope ben makes todd regeret this my starting sept 9 with 3 or 4 td Aand after each td stare todd.

Yeah he finally feels comfortable now. He's finally at a team were he's smarter than the playas.

I thought about Toddster's statement for a bit. He didn't say the best QB's he ever had, he said the best QB room he ever had. Which probably means a bunch of young guys who nod their heads and don't argue with him.

I'm calling it. This will be Haley's last professional football job.

Does it count if he's the Browns' interim HC after the HC gets fired halfway through the season?

Wow, talk about salty.

I'm calling fake news.
What he said vs how everyone is reading it is two entirely different things.
Haley in no way said, "These are the best QBs I've ever had."
What he said was "this is the best QB ROOM I've had."
This should be taken as "I have QBs that are interested in learning and helping and not fighting me and my system."
HUGE difference.

I spoke to Bruce Gradkowski, one on one with no ears listening, and asked for his take on what I thought was curious - Haley not being resigned after so much success. He asked that I elaborate and I said while Haley OBVIOUSLY had uber talented players to work with, his system kept Ben upright for the most part, distributed the ball around to all the skill players, and hung 42 on the #1 D in his final game. I didn't think Haley would have been the problem that needed fixing. Was Haley THAT difficult or did the O guys just not respect him? Did he wear out his welcome in Pittsburgh?
His response? And I will paraphrase as this is from memory and not verbatim :
"I never had any issues with Coach Todd. He comes off as abrasive because he never sugar coats anything and lets you know exactly what he's thinking. If you audible out of something, whether your audible fails or succeeds, he wants to know why you called the audible and what you saw that triggered it. He very much wants to understand the why of the decision. He's got an amazing offensive mind and expects a lot of his players. Having said that, there's some people that rubs the wrong way. Some people don't like their decisions questioned for any reason. It was time for a change. And when it's your franchise player vs someone on the coaching staff not in the Head Coach position.........( shoulder shrug, head tilt smirk ). Now, I never had problems with Ben, either. He's a great guy and fun to be around. And one hell of a ball player. But I wasn't calling plays or trying to game plan for an opponent."

With that, I just think Haley was saying he finally had a room where he wasn't being met with such resistance in the Film/QB room. Not that Tyrod Taylor and Johnny 2.0 are better QBs.
Relax.

They won't make him head coach, after he gets in a bar fight with a local..

;)

In Cleveland that might be a resume enhancement.

I think Mrs. Haley would be more apt at the getting into a fight with a local then toddster surfer dude to the rescue.........................
