ESPN Specualtes M Bryant has teams calling to obtain him.

I'd love to see them package Bell and a 2nd for Barkley. They'd save 9 million dollars out of the gate and get a back just about as good.

Might be the wrong forum for the comment I'm about to make but a certain POTUS would say this is Fake News. Too many talking heads on tv. I literally don't listen to a single second of what these folks have to say. Let me watch my game. Don't want to see all the "expert" analysis.

I was talking about the experts on this board lol

We would be LUCKY to get a 3rd for him.
Not sure it's a good idea since he will make pretty good money and get us a 4th comp pick following his departure.
He could be a large piece to what we do next year in terms of downfield threats.

Now, if the 3rd is early in the round and we already took a WR in rd 2, I would consider it.

Are we lucky now?

Dude do you even understand what you're saying? Ain't no one trading for a proverbial pothead when they can draft a WR and have him under a rookie contract for 4-5 years and not have the headache that Bryant brings with his no strikes left status brings.

We traded Santonio Holmes, a Super Bowl MVP, for a 5th round pick. Ain't trading Bryant for a 2nd. Just stop with your utter nonsense.

How do you like your crow?

Yes, it wasn’t popular because the reward perceived wouldn’t outweigh the player and his cheap cap hit. No one would have considered giving up more than a 5th or 6th based on past history. Yet what other GM offered a 3rd? Remember Gruden is trying to get hype to put people in seats.

How much **** do you have to throw at a wall before something sticks? You said you would only do it for a 1 or a high 2. Raiders come calling with the #15 pick in the 3rd round, of course you take the pick. Bryant is a walk free agent after this year. They’ll get a kid on the cheap locked in for 4 years with that pick.

GTFO of here with your crow. Raiders bailed us out taking a malcontent who now sits behind Cooper and Jordy Nelson, two WRs better than Coates and Juju just a year ago that Bryant was behind including AB. Shame we couldn’t have got a 3rd for Holmes way back when.

By the way Colbert tried to trade up for Evans but couldn’t get the Rats to take the trade. That’s likely the ammo they were using to move up. Now we have a 3rd round pick to play with. What happened to the 14 teams that would have given up a first you mentioned?

I bet if we threw in Landry Jones, we could get the 1st AND 4th overall from Cleveland. If we offer Fu, maybe we can get a 2nd rounder too!

Landry has more wins the past 2 years than the Brown's franchise. That should be worth a first for them!

Good move. Make no mistake, this is about changing the locker room culture, which has become a huge detriment to the team as far as "me first" type players. Bell will be gone after next year as well.

Getting a 3rd rounder for Bryant is a very good trade in my opinion. We are talking about a player that has provided very little production for TWO full seasons now.

To invest a 4th rounder in getting him and getting maybe one and a half really good seasons out of him (20 games, tops?), knowing you're NOT going to invest money into him for a 2nd contract and turn all that into a 3rd round pick seems like a win.

Or it was just value too good to pass on.

I like the trade, though I wish we got just a little more. Gruden and Bryant....could be good for Bryant's career.

With the emergence of JuJu I am glad the unloaded the potential liability that Martavis has become. Now they have 3 Picks today. Time to get the LB issue addressed. And then what RB?

You wish we coukd have gotten more. Lol. I agree. A couple of first rounders would have been sweet.

So if this is about locker room culture, I’m gonna assume the Steelers have no interest in the other Bryant who just left Dallas
