Instead of being with the Pittsburgh Steelers for their annual voluntary offseason workouts before training camp, running back Le’Veon Bell*has decided to prep for the season on his own down in Miami, FL. Bell is still unsigned as he and the Steelers have yet to come to*a long-term deal. He has been issued the team’s […]

Whatever workouts he has, won't be the same as being in camp. Longer he stays out the more likely a repeat performance of a slow season start.

No doubt we will have at least 3+ ****** games from him to start season just like last year. Hope Connor or another RB are up for the starts and to get a bunch of touches to start the season.

He doesn't have teammates at the moment as he has no contract for an nfl team. Why would he show up for voluntary workout while not under contract

Yep sick of his me first attitude. he is getting 14.5 million dollars this year, show up and support your team you piece of ****. I was the first one here to pimp bell, a full year before the draft, (MI state fan) but I would really be ok just cutting this stupid ****. I really doubt he plays hard this year, and it wouldn't suprise me if he faked an injury so he doesn't risk not gettin a big free agent deal next year.

I am so tired of Bell. love the guy on the field but what an distraction!

What a bad message this sends to the younger players on the team. This guy is a distraction that needs to be eliminated from this football team. All Tomlin and Colbert are doing is a repeat of last season which will net the same results. Slow start by Bell and most likely the team with its offense out of sync.

Yeah, but IF he blows out a knee "working out", you can bet the offer will be rescinded before he can blink. He is taking a risk of losing all that $$$.

I would suspect he has insurance policies protecting him from that scenario.

I can totally understand why he's trying to reset the market on RBs considering the hits he takes as a runner coupled with the fact that he's catching 80 balls a season on top of that. The harsh reality of the situation is that with the wear and tear, he's on the back end of his career. If he wants 17m a seasom, let someone else pay that. He'll sign the tag in after camp and they'll run the wheels off of him and part ways. As far as the younger players go, let it motivate them to play well enough to command a franchise tag too.

Its a shame how some 'fans' are getting upset with this.

"How DARE he become the best RB in the league?"
"Who cares what you and the rest of the league thinks you're worth, you OWE us!"

Just wait until Juju is up for contract negotiations. I can see the heel turn now...

Oh please! Let's stop with this fake "poor Leveon" crap. The Steelers offered him a contract that made him the highest paid running back BY FAR. He's being a little *****, and I'm tired of it. I wish the Steelers would grow a backbone and trade him.

I have a difficult time accepting this, signing the offer he's already been offered the last 2 years would easily do just that.

At this point, my take says absolute greed on his part and not the altruistic claim that he makes.

I honestly wish he was there with his teammates, but it is what it is. Him getting hurt will not help him, but not being with his brothers may, as well. After this season, he may be a past-Steeler and there will be something new to discuss. Like a new RB that we are hopeful for.

First- Yea, the Steelers offered him a good contract- but the contract they offered (even the Franchise tag) is less than he would get in the open market.

Second- You dont trade one of your best players. Like it or not, the offense goes as Leveon goes. You really think its easy to replace a franchise player like him in FA or the draft?

Agreed. Move on from Me’von Bell.

We aren’t going to tag him a third time.

In order of preference.

He signs the one year deal, allowing us to trade him before the draft.

Run his wheels off this year. Let him walk in free agency. Get a high 3rd round comp pick in 2020.

Cut the dude if we draft a running back. And I hope he plays for a lot less in 2018 than the tag amount offered.

Bell has become a cancer.

It is way better for us if he gets injured while not under contract than if be is under contract, yes?

Just my opinion, but I doubt that. Guess we're going to find out if there is a team that desperate, and if they are, how will he feel playing for what most likely will be a losing franchise?

You ******* and your weak *** whiny bitching will be on your knees kissing his feet when he is the BEST RB in the league again, running AND catching passes, he's the best in the league and it's our honor to have him.

I don't give a **** about money, PAY THE MAN!
