Watching Badger games on YouTube I started noticing the safety #12. Pros- He has tremendous speed, quick twitch, loose hips, and advanced ball skills. Plays defense, gunner, and return man.
Weaknesses- Out of position sometimes, doesn’t recognize and diagnose all the time, not the greatest tackler but not bad. Not the biggest safety at 5’ 10 5/8” 201lbs.

Bottom line- He has the tools, he’s aggressive, and is learning the position. There’s a lot to like and what you don’t is all coachable.

We could do a lot worse....like say play Mike Mitchell.

Seriously, I like the kid. If we can't get a FS early, taking him with a 5th might be very nice.

I like him.

Jamerson has good combine #'s, he won't be for us in round five, which means if the Steelers want him, it has to be in rounds 2-3. I like his production last season. 2 INT's, 10 passes defended. . I think he's on the Steelers draft board, perhaps as high as round two, and definitely in round three. He would be a steal in round five.

I pick guys I that I like who might be there. I was only saying if the Steelers like Jamerson they will have to use a 2nd or 3rd round pick to obtain him. I'm fine with the pick in round three as long as we do not pick a safety in round 1 or 2. This should be common sense.

For round two I like Phillips, Reid, Chubb, Rudolph, Bates, And Evans.

How in the heck do you “think” he’s on the Steelers draft board in the 2nd, much less than a round 3 and “steal” in round 5 when the link you provided states the guy is a round 7 projection?

Well, Ike, I do not rely on the website to tell me where a player is going.

DUH, look at his combine #'s and production in 2017 in a major conference. Football players this fast and productive do not go in round seven.

Maybe you don't know much....well that can be obvious, but I hope one day you will learn.

I will bet anyone here, including you Jamerson, will be off the board before round 6 ends. Terms: Avatar rights for three months. Any takers? I expect crickets...because I'm very likely correct, but like PT Barum once said there a sucker born every minute.

So if you believe a link, why not wager for a bit of fun?

Well Dimrod, you shouldn't rely on any one website. Tell us, what does your rag website at PFF predict this guy will go? How much tape have you watched instead of the clips Ford provided? NOT AFTER I ASKED, BUT BEFORE.

I know that you don't know Jack Squat about player evaluation and are an attention hog (polite term). You just keep harnessing this infantile need to be recognized, even if its as a clown that you are.

In reference to your PS....Look at the bolded and increased font size of your own post you idiot. You are becoming so clueless and your narcissistic tendencies are becoming borderline clinical.

As for your betting......you have proved to be unreliable in keeping or following a straight bet. So your bets are worth about as much as your posts.

I agree with you. Berry is signed for 1.9 million and some other guy will be in camp. My argument is we can upgrade the positon and save money.

In other words, you're likely right, and I'm not risking it. I have not welched on any agreed upon bet.

Look dude, a guy with good production in the big ten on defense, who was the second fasted and 2nd strongest at the combine for his positon is not going in round seven. History will show you that. Good production in a major conference with top testing numbers seldom = a 7th round pick.

But with every web site saying it, why not shake on it. It seems like you have skin in the game, as you like to reply to my posts. Another pass by Ike...

I know I’m right, as does Coolie, Cope as well as a cast of thousands on this board. You can’t save face.

You and your combine/testing numbers fetish. Any professional evaluator will tell you pretty much in your face, they are minuscule in player evaluation. It’s their game tape that tells if they are productive football players. Drills in shorts don’t mean anything other than to provide confirmation on traits and tendencies that a player has put on their tape.

It’s nothing personal to you Coach, because you are like several posters who have been on here, panned and refused to acknowledge the obvious. I reply to your some of your posts, because like others I call BS. You say a lot of it, and then tell others who have spent the time, effort and research on a topic to provide an objective and lucid opinion. You don’t. Plain and simple, but definitely provide criticism with no basis to it on a reply that doesn’t meet your view or agenda. It would be better for you to respond, agree to disagree and move on. Because you don’t have the ability to provide debatable feedback.

I mean you think Barry is below average anyway, so if that's your stance, we should draft a punter, right?

Or else you're starting to see my point about accurate punters over distance punters.

Terms:

If Jamerson goes in rounds 1-6, I pick the avatar for 3 months. Nothing X rated, political, or religious.

If he goes in rounds 7 or as a rookie free agent, the person betting me picks my avatar. Nothing X rated, political, or religious.

*** If Jamerson suffers a significant injury to cause his draft status to drop or has an off the field problem before the draft, the bet is void ***


Since all these draft websites that some trust here says round 7 or rookie free agent for Jamerson, I'm the one assuming the risk. So much for the BS that Coach can't come to terms....

I said I'd draft a punter. Berry is below average and making 1.9 million a season. I think we could upgrade the positon and save over a million a year on the cap. I'm pretty sure of that.

This is a good punting class for distance and accuracy. The guy I like has pro bowl potential, and punting in the NFL is very close to punting in college.

What the Steelers think is something no one here can control. For example. no one like Jarvis Jones, right :)

You said this guy wouldn't last to the 5th and that if Pitt wanted to draft him it would need to be in the 2nd or 3rd. But you offer a bet regarding the guy getting picked in rounds 1-6. Laughable. If you are so sure of your own BS, why not own up to Jamerson being drafted before the 5th round or eve better for you, before Pitt's first 5th rounder?

Oh, and you are so generous in losing. If you lose, you wouldn't contribute anyway and therefore no avatar would be chosen. You aren't fooling anyone.

With Burnett, Davis, Wilcox, Dangerfield and now Nat Berhe in the fold, how many safeties do we need out of this draft? I say one max, albeit a good one.
 
Tarvarius Moore might be a interesting second round guy, sort of under the radar.

If they didn't get a S in 1.
