They did it for Rocky Bleier.That turned out well! I'm sure they will give Mr.Shazier that same support. I'd really expect nothing less from them.
 
Proud that the Steelers in this day and age stand tall. What is more important is Ryan can continue to be motivated to get himself in a good place for life. Football it self is on the back burner with what is more important taking car of one self.

Next year rubber meets the road as he is FA. Id like to see them hire him as a "special advisor". And take care of him with a gentleman's agreement to have right of first refusal if he plays again. Always take care of your fallen.

I mean I'd be shocked if Shazier screwed them over after all the care and support the team, fans, the city etc have given him. Plus I doubt he wants to move or change doctors. I'm sure he knows the Steelers will take care of him if he can play again
