Cardinals pick up Cobi Hamilton off waivers-PFT

Steelers resign Big Dud Dan McCullers - FFmastermind-quick bits

Atlanta is interested in Arthur Moats- yahoo sports

Behind the scenes, be on the lookout for which Steelers players head is too big for his uniform! Will the Steelers draft a punter, having a capable one already on the roster?. Will Lev Bell be traded to cleveland for barkley and a juicebox? Will coach ever make it past a 2 minute youtube clip?

Stay tuned for more Steeler news and the latest of climatic happenings.

Like sands through the hourglass, these are the days of our ex Steelers.

My Mother (bless her soul) watched that soap opera for years and years so I like the analogy towards your thread topic, thank you.

It's nice to see some of these guys get jobs (or camp bodies) for themselves. We won't miss any of them. Mike Wallace is slightly better than a one trick pony and the ONLY legitamite one in the bunch of Ex-Steelers gaining employment. None the less they aren't STEELERS anymore and I could care just enough to post this post ****.

Salute the nation

Mike Wallace will do well in Philly with a better QB throwing him open. This is a really good and cheap move for Philly.

I agree, that Mike Wallace Philly move makes them much better. He can go back to his one trick with a big armed QB that can make plays and Alshon Jeffery drawing most of the attention. He is probably looking at 750yds and 6-8TDs.

I agree. While I think the Steelers were right to let Wallace go in free agency ( Miami made him an insane offer ) I don't quite understand the fans who think he sucks. Wallace is going to end up with 9,500+ yards in the NFL before his career ends. IMO, Wallace is as good or better than Holmes and Burress. .

Yeah he never "sucked".. I liked him, although I'm not sure he was a #1. His weakness making contested catches/50-50 balls always bothered me

I know there is a lot of revisionist history with Wallace, but when he was here, he was the best deep ball receiver we had in his first 2 years. His ability to adjust to balls in the air, and make spectacular plays on inaccurate deep balls, was a rare trait. His 3rd year he started short arming balls and not laying out to make the great play. As a result AB got paid and it was was money better spent. It was the right decision the day it happened, and it is now seen by everyone as being right today.

Though if Wallace did stay, his numbers for yardage and TDs would be up significantly with Ben throwing to him, than what they are now.

Cockrell now in Charlotte as a Panther.

I think Mike Wallace would have a good 2nd stint here.
Good pick up by the eagles

no. Not better than Burress, and not better than Holmes, who was a threat from any spot with any catch on the field, can't say the same about Wallace.

Holmes was a complete receiver. Kinda like AB.
He was decent at a deep ball, but also had good YAC routes.

Wallace could've been the same way. Go back to 2012 against the Giants, he had a nice TD run.
I think his ego dampened his play.

He and AB could've been something special.

But we got AB and JuJu(who provides some physicality)
Steelers window for a championship is still there.

Let the ex steelers move on. We will be alright.

Looks like Lake is out for the season again.
