1 year 7 million for the Honey Badger. Texans didn't break the bank.
Hey Steelers what the **** are you doing?First phase of free agency is over, wake the **** up.
No sense of urgency with these *******, starting to irritate me.
Not the normal year you need two ******* starters and not even a ******* visit.
And with Ben on the tailgate waving you would think they would be all in.
Not this ho hum **** they are doing, ****.
It's starting to look like we are all in on Bell
Myron Bell?? Wait, we're still talking about available safeties, right?
no saved by the bell. A Steeler sitcom where Bell plays RB, FS, and ILBer.
And he will have to save the day, because well
there is nobody else...
What makes you think he would have accepted a 2 year contract for 7,5 each year? He bet in himself for a year, if he plays balls out his next contract is a 4 year deal of about 9M each at leastThis pisses me off a bit. Steelers could have offered 2 years 15 million and not be over committed to him and yet still have him for the best football years he has left. Also, allows them to solely focus on ILB. Maybe package 1st and 2nd to move up for Edmunds or Roquan Smith.

For once I wish our front office would pay a guy like Mathieu to go for the SB and franchise Bell. Go all in, the window is two years at best, then it's back to the drech that is rebuilding.
we can't do a 7M / one year contract, our only chance to give a big contract is that it's a long contract so the cap hit of the first year can fit what little room is left
The Honey Badger
Aka
The one that got away.
We suck at FA acquisitions.
Farrior, Clark and Bettis are rarities
Bettis was a trade
That's right.
I was a youngster. Don't remember too vivid
Boston or Vaccaro would be amazing! I have a feeling they might bring back Mitchell on the cheap.
I'm starting to fear the return of Mitchell.

Just, no. Mitchell cannot cover. He cannot get to the ball in time to break up a pass. He was not hurt last year, he was just bad. And that is simply not likely to change in 2018.
Move Davis to FS, draft a SS round 1 or 2 and let him play. LVE round 1, Justin Reid round 2.
They can it is they don't want to.
Every year conversation is based on money.
But if they want then money can easily be freed up.
There is no "can't" when it comes to money with this team, they just have their way of doing things.
Not to rant on you Lito it is said over and over again, thread to thread.
But yet last year the team was actually decently busy in free agency. **** this year all we want is at least one starting position filled. As their plan so far has sucked ***.
I would try Sutton over Davis at FS. But still prefer a free agent
And for a ILBer and a FS to be drafted regardless.
the team already moved a lot of money into signing bonuses, how much more can we do without being in Real Cap Hell in two or three seasons? I think they are strapped already
