Will the Bell Keep Ringing or Time to Move On?

Oh we back to this again. Not believing reporters or players when it doesn't fit our narrative.

Yeah much better to assume if one player says something it is a locker room belief'.

That is like say I called you a ********.

Would the whole board in turn think you were a ********?

My point is such a small scale report doesn't make it locker room wide.

Yinz isn't selling me on this. best you try next door with your vacuum.

He didnt say one player. He said the whole locker room respects him. And he isnt the only reporter to say so multiple reporters say this. He is considered a team leader. No one considers him selfish or greedy. But im sure if there was one report of one player calling him greedy and selfish there would be many posters saying yes i told you

They are pulling for him to become the third highest paid on the team, doesn't mean they support his outrageous demands.
He's a real leader showing up not in very good shape last year and missing the AFC playoff game walk through.
Complaining and rapping about his teammates not supporting his music.

Is this a generational, mental or cultural phenomenon; I know I'm confused?
Seems to me Bell's stats were down last season.
Maybe Bell might feel better or think he could get his salary demands with another team but not with the same top rated Offensive line and playmakers?
Young Man needs to flush out his head gear and get a reality check.

Let us look at it at another angle.

Deebo was being a *** left and right and you heard nothing until after the fact. Hell even after the fact the majority didn't comment and still refuse to comment.

A reporter goes into a locker room and you expect the players to spill the beans?

With a team that preaches brotherhood?

And then he writes about it and it goes social media crazy?

No I don't ******* think so.

They will say yeah Wex, Bell is my brother every thing is peachy ******* keen.

Or they won't say anything.

Or perhaps they don't care about his distractions because he helps them win. You will have those types too.

But it is laughable you think some sort of insight will be obtained from a reporter. If we would put a percentage on it I am sure it is fluff 95% of the time if not more.

Good thing is we can see Bell is sort of a tool, so it isn't far stretched to draw our own conclusions.

The guy is threatening to sit out half a season now. I'd can his *** after I filled his roster spot. Go play the value game in a team with a ****** line and qb. Over it.

Defense,Defense, Defense

What the Steelers should do right now is restructure as many contracts as possible and free up cap space. Then work on trading Bell while beefing up the defense. If you can't trade him then sign or draft a top running back to complement Conner and rescind his tag. Then roll over the extra cap space to next year to cover the restructures. There are many creative ways the Steelers can handle this situation if they have the will to do it. If we keep Bell with the current cap eating tag number then I'm afraid we can look forward to more 45-38 scores next season and a quick exit from the playoffs. The only other option is signing Bell long term with a cap friendly deal early in the contract but it's looking obvious now that won't happen.
