He's says he's over to 250 pound now. I don't care much about height for ILB's, as long as they are over 6 feet tall, its the speed, movement skills, tackling ability, and coverage skills that matter most to me.

A nickel linebacker these days has more value. Currently the Steeler have zero quality here.

The height is intruiging becsuse QBs will have to throw over him when throwing over the middle. He has good arm length too to help keep guards from getting into his chest.

I will watch Vander Esch on film bit later. I am suspicious about one-year wonders who did it vs. weak competition, so he's going to need to stand out on film and work out well.

At the combine, he needs to show some strength. If his bench press results are weak, that to me is a red flag. The legs and arms look a little thin by middle linebacker standards.

He looks the part but he doesn't hit like he should. He is no hyper agile guy either.

Ok Genius,,,,first off, you are not even in the same ball park as Steelers Depot's bloggers, Marzci and Korza, They actually do the work and SHOW it on their blogs. They show breakdowns often from tape they've viewed to explain as to what they are talking about. TO HAVE their observations validated. You don't. You just say "I've viewed film, or seen tape" then give an opinion and expect agreement based what you think. There is no validity to your research...just a layman's opinion like everyone else who doesn't put in the research and analysis like those who do.

Second, I don't create scouting reports, nor do I criticize those who put forth the work to research and analyze their findings in words. Some perform this task as a full time job, others as a hobby as they have a passion for the sport and HAVE THE TIME to do it. I am a fan of the sport, Steelers and NFL. So I read and follow comments from the folks who put forth the time and effort to show objectivity and personally ignore those who don't or have an obvious agenda. I have other responsibilities or interests that would not allow me to do the things TMC, Del or Cope have done. I also understand their views are theirs, I may not agree with somethings, but when they put in the time and research I give them credit for their observation. I don't pretend I know more than they do about the subject, because I haven't done what they have.

As for your belief I don't have the ability to pen scouting reports, I could care less what you think. I can tell you I've have prepared documentation set for legal precedent and communications from state legislation. I seriously doubt you could glean an ounce of reciprocation methods from them as you have constantly exhibited narcissistic tendencies. Unlike you, I don't need to puff my chest behind a keyboard on this board to prove what I know or believe. This board allows us to provide a fan's opinion singularly. It's your right to disagree, and that is perfectly fine. But to critique others who have validation methods and you DO NOT have ANY is what gets you laughed at on this forum. Publish something to acknowledge you put in the research and analysis instead of opinion with no objectivity, Then and only then, maybe you might be given some acknowledgement that you know what you are taking about. Got it?

You can't ask him sensitive questions no matter how much a curiosity strikes up.

It either hinders his return or word spreads and nobody will interview.

It is why reporters don't get to ask the questions fans would really prefer to ask. Their hands are tied.

Teams can ask him these questions. The Dolphins GM asked WR Dez Bryant if his mother was a *****.

The Steelers or any team can ask Reid if he supports his brother.

Oh we understand full well what the intent is, but it does not change the fact that they are disrespecting the flag and anthem only to get a rise out of people.

And all this started with Kaepernick pouting because he was benched. All that changed is this year some professional protesters got behind the players and used the media to re-brand a guy throwing a hissy fit into the new Rosa Parks. I find it disgusting.

But, hey, they won because now the NFL is producing their own social justice commercials
 
BTW, i especially love being lectured about how unfair the country by a guy who just got a free education at Stanford and is about to make millions.

Your flag might not care, but the majority of people care. Especially people like me who served and know that the flag represents something. Freedom. And countless of lives lost in the pursuit of freedom,

So the cool thing in America is there is a plethora of platforms you can use to pump out your agenda. Nevermind this country is more equal and fair than it has ever been. But none the less you have that freedom.

So go choose another platform that doesn't entail disrespecting the flag. Because if the majority views it as disrespectful, it is disrespectful.

And disrespecting the flag is on my time. I served it is on my time.


So go disrespect something on your time not mine.

Hell I seen many of times in history I was upset reading about many different colors and nationalities getting mistreated. And I hated it loathed it. I would have probably been killed defending it.


But now? the agendas they are throwing people is bullshit.

You have the freedom of education, moving, benefits. You don't have to sleep out in the streets and go hungry. No matter what color you are.

And that was all accomplished on our time.

Crooked cops effect every color, on a much smaller scale than the countless of kids killing each other on the streets.But by all means that doesn't go along with the platform agenda.

Great thing is man different avenues out there to promote agendas without pissing off million upon millions of people.

Get together and make new laws or promote investigations on your time.

On my time I will be standing for the flag, and be respectful of lives lost.

Because if it wasn't for them, these freedoms wouldn't exist.

So as people have the freedom to be ********* and disrespectful, I have the freedom to call their ***** out.

I don't sit or kneel. I stand. But I have no problem with what other people do on their time. Plenty of people yell about respect for the flag. And plenty of people fly their flags outside of their houses. At night, and in the rain, unlit. That's how you disrespect a flag, and if you served, you'd agree.

More than one way to disrespect a flag. the way I mentioned has a lot of people standing behind my views. it isn't a minority view.

Millions will have to agree to disagree.with a platform they apparently sold you on.
 
We already have two defensive backs that can't tackle now we want to look at a safety that can't as well, lets hope not.
