So, I've been approached by someone that I met on Twitter awhile ago. He does interviews with former Steelers all decades. Recently he's had some with Rod Woodson, Tony Dungy, or on another level Chris Rainey, and Paul Wiggins.

Anyway, we had a phone conversation the other day about possibly joining forces to bring everyone some exclusive interviews. Possibly a live chat with players if possible.

I know that podcasts haven't exactly been a hit with some of the members here, but I wondered if something like this would be of interest to everyone.

Please ask questions or let me know how you feel below. Thanks.
 
Don't listen to podcasts. I think if you market it correctly you'll get an audience. Even by uploading it to YouTube and having links from the site you'll drive traffic. On the flip side of that if you have a SteelerNation.com link (logo) or whatever in the video/podcast you'll get more people in here.

don't listen to Hines. He's an idiot. What I would do is upload to YouTube with links to the site. Possibly even put the SN logo on the video or podcast. That would drive more traffic to the board.

How would a live chat format work?

Great points about doing a youtube vid with links both ways.
 
Use Facebook Live for live chats. Easy to ask questions on whatever the topic.
 
Live chat would be the ticket so we can post our QUESTIONS / Concerns and get response in a streaming chat response real time. Just my $12,987,345.02 cents.

I like the idea of podcasts, I just have a hard time dedicating the time to listen to them...too many distractions. A live chat on Facebook would be cool.
 
Can he be used properly? Will he sign for vet minimum? Will he look good in black and gold?
 
I guess I'm in the minority because I like podcasts. I get to listen to something on my schedule. It also saves the aggravation of missing out on a live feed.
