Eagles Had a Fake Walkthrough to Fool Cheating Pats

PFT has the story. Eagles were careful not to run the "Philly Special" or pretty much any of their other plays because the figured pats would have somebody watching

This speaks volumes. When people try to say the pats cheating is no big deal or it was exaggerated, look at a team changing up their Super Bowl preparations as the proof that within the league it is known the pats cheated.

Pats could have lost every single Super Bowl. Each win was by a slim margin. Cheating could be the difference.

Or maybe we are supposed to believe that every other team has to gather multiple pro bowlers and top talents to compete but the pats can just stop offenses with no pass rush and any small white dude can just get open at will for them.

If it was just offensive design, then wouldn't everybody just study the pats offense and call those plays and score 40 points with a bunch of undrafted skill players?
 
Its hilarious that everything mentioned in this thread teams have done because tge Pats outright cheat... its not even a hidden fact.. its right out in the open.... they singlehandedly ruined an era of nfl football... maybe irreparably... Pats fans have to dread the day the full scope gets out... going to be pretty quick after the hoodie retires I bet... biggest joke franchise ever

I've always said that other coaches and players will spill EVERYTHING that happened over the years in their games vs. the Pats once the retirements happen. They won't do it now because it will seem like sour grapes while the "Dynasty" is still going. Just wait.
 
Now we are trusting PFT ? I really hope this story is true and yes it would be awesome to think the E-A-G-L-E-S did do something along these lines to **** up the Cheats...but I sure would rather a source other than PFT
 
Other word floating around is that they practiced the philly special play in the hotel ballroom. Gotta hand it to pederson if it's all true.

Sucks cause the rest of the teams will suffer imo

Almost a week gone by and all the press is towards the pats. Love the soap opera.
 
It would be better if they ran the Philly Special play as a direct snap run left in the walkthrough. That would have added more credence to their cheating, since Foles was wide the **** open on that play in the Super Bowl.
 
I was not going to post anything but I did hear this as well. Anyway, the player from the Eagles that said it was Rick Lovato. I had to look up who he was - long snapper. He said very specifically that he thinks they had fake walkthroughs at the stadium.

From what I heard: The actual game plan was implemented indoors with everyone present vetted by security with much (but not all) of the outdoor stuff as fake plays. The beat reporters here even mentioned that they were running formations and plays they had not seen before - including running the RPO from different blocking schemes.
 
Didn't Peyton Manning say they used to talk in the tunnels at New England because they felt the locker room might be bugged?

The Patriots cheating I suspect runs much deeper than we know,

Don't forget the Giants beat the *'s twice in the Super Bowl at least partly because Tom Coughlin was smart enough to change his play signals for the second half.

Do you get the feeling Pederson is the type of coach we wish we had. Who among you honestly think Cool Shades would have been sharp enough to pull that off?

Teams should have been doing this stuff for years against them. How anyone with an ounce of common sense in the football business not take extra extra measures against the cheats is beyond me.

Me, too, but are there any team that regularly beats them? I dont think so. They still score 24ppg in something like 65% of their games.
