Report: Gronk considering retirement to pursue acting career

We missed you coach on your vacation. Now how do you feel about Bell being traded and what might be a good landing spot?

Aw thanks! I'm touched. Didn't miss a beat!. But for a laugh perhaps Bell trolled the Jets ( saying it will cost 100 million for him to play there ) because he learned they inquired about trading for him?

Mark my words if Bell is traded or leaves, he won't be as good on another team, and some of his supporters here will turn on him.

is CLE interested?

I think he has the acting range of Brian Bosworth. Look for a flop starring Gronk, then he gets reduced rules as a heavy.

He will star in a hit series of movies called "Frat boys" where he ends up shirtless and drunk on the dance floor repeatedly... it will be a hit with the younger generation but make no sense to anyone over 30......

Well they aren't a well run team and adding an Ohio born star they passed on in the draft ( Not Ben, they took a TE over him ) in Bell, and having both the 1st and 4th picks of the draft with a mediocre Duke Johnson running the ball...

If "the gronk" does retire that would be a HUGE part of the Lance weaponry. The demise of the cheatriots is happening before our eyes. The only
problem is with the cheating they won't miss a beat as all they need is another tall TE who can catch

They did okay with the murderer they had before.

I saw Gronk in a movie recently and cannot remember the name of the movie. That should tell you something. Anyways, he needs to keep his day job.

If they go through with that Goonies sequel, they will need a Sloth.

I'm seeing it ...

Jim Brown quit to be an actor. Who doesn’t shed a tear when he is gunned down while running and throwing grenades down the air vents of a nazi bunker in the Dirty Dozen?

Brian Bosworth made Stone Cold

Howie Long made a few movies.

look at all the roles The Rock and John Cena are getting. It makes sense because hollywood is running low on real men. Most of the leading men are old and the young ones are mostly 100 lb scarecrows.

i can see Gronk as a Bond villain. Maybe the new version of Jaws.

I will add, that I think wrestlers make better actors. They are already skilled at creating a character, memorizing lines, and staying within a script. It's a perfect crossover. Hogan, Piper, Rock, Cena, Bautista, Andre the Giant. These guys killed their roles.

Football players are limited in their acting range, and usually have to play a supporting character, or 'the muscle' in most movies. Brown may have been the best in his role. OJ was actually great as Nordberg, then he went on to his full time reality role of acting innocent.

But a lot of the times football players have bit parts, Bradshaw, bubba smith, in comedies. Carl Weathers is probably the best acting career of the bunch.

NFL players can have great acting careers, but I think wrestlers are better prepared to be actors. But at least NFLers don't have to worry about concussions and bone breaks as much when they leave. That alone is a huge bonus for Gronk.

Maybe that last concussion knocked some sense into him

Reminds me of "Christmas Vacation," where the little girl's eyes are not crossed any more. Eddie tells Clark, "It's the darndest thing. She falls in a well, eyes go crossed. She gets kicked by a mule, they go back to normal. I don't know!”

I'd like to see the one where he stars in "GRONK cheats the truth"
He gives up all information of his cheatriot career.
