I get it, your point is that Tomlin isn't good or bad. In fact no HC is, because the HC has no responsibilities. I do understand your point. It's just so ******* stupid I can't help commenting on it.

You two spend every minute on here pounding each other on the back for every comment, so the assertion that I am following someone and propping up their every comment is rich coming from either of you two. .

True. I don't think I've ever heard that the HC is basically the PR of the team. Hell Rooney should save that money and just promote one of his 3 former HCs on the team and let them do both. Wait.. if the HCs aren't to blame then how the hell are there 3 former HCs to even hire? Why do team even change HCs?

They get tired, dude. Cowher had allllllllllllll those press conferences. He must've slept 14-18 hours a day, which can make one very tired in its own way.

Paul Brown invented the modern offense, scouting, and the draw play as a hobby. Not as part of his coaching duties, which were merely sitting in front of those big old-timey microphones and giving interviews.

Don't agree with this at all. Head coach is at the top, unless you have a powerful GM and the Steelers don't. Tomlin's fingerprints are all over this team.

Why do you say that? Just because pretty much everything about our team changed in his first year of coaching? All coincidence.

I guess those certain coaches that have their teams winning it is due to their coordinators.

And when they leave as the norm, it is due to the coaches who replaced them.

There should be no problem kicking Tomlin to the curb because he does so little.

The waterboy could replace him. Because he should be able to handle media relations just fine.

Sometimes it is ok to be wrong but I guess it is fun to pull something out of your *** however far fetched as it is. And run with it.

Sorry the coach runs the team and molds it for better or worse.

Anything less is simply untrue, but by all means let the fantasy continue

Some point to a SB win from six years ago as proof that Tomlin iz awsum. Some claim that his W-L record (which is rapidly deteriorating) tells the story of his greatness (which also means Mike Smith was a better coach than Bill Walsh). Bermuda claims our multi-year swoon is due entirely to injuries. This boy wonder here claims it's everyone's fault but Tomlin's because he has nothing to do with the team's play. Some just kick and scream that we "hate" Tomlin because he's black. In the end, it comes down to one thing: the Steelers chose Tomlin, so Tomlin was/is the man for the job. If we'd hired Greg Schiano, it'd be the same thing.

The Steeler FO does no wrong in their eyes.

Tomlin is a major problem, but the whole organization is lost and in shambles. Name one positive thing right now about the ownership, GM, coaches, players, past drafts, etc. What makes anyone sit here and have a positive vision of the 2014 Pittsburgh Steelers? This ORGANIZATION needs a total cleansing.

Besides Bell and AB, this team is vanilla.
