THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE DAMMIT!!!!!! They have had numerous years now to change things around. Time is up. Need someone new.
 
Butler and Haley bye bye... Mitchell, Dupree, and Shazier need replaced. Also need to look for our next QB. A very tall order for one off season.

I am also done with the tomlin experiment, but unfortunately i don't see anything being done about that

Have you seen Muchaks record as head coach ? You want a sub .500 career record coach leading this franchise ? Just why ?
 
Butler, Haley, and Carnell Lake needs to go, and J. Porter gets a pass because of the talent he had to work with
Mitchell, Gay, Moats, Spence needs to go.

Dupree should not be penciled in as a starter,

Tomlin should be publicly called out by the owners, and let it be known his coaching was below the line.

Porter has had Jarvis Jones, Bud Dupree, and TJ Watt? Who has he developed? I don't even know how much I'd credit him with Watt because the guy is a football junkie.

Did he have Ben at QB, players like Bell, Brown,etc? His teams played hard and IIRC he kicked our ***. He would immediately get respect from the players and his no nonsense attitude would be a 180 from the current moron in charge.

Anyway's. Haley's contract is up. He won't be back. Look for our QB coach to take over. I wish for Butler to be fire. I doubt it will happen though. One can wish though.

Jones, and Dupree have proven to not be that good that is why i say Porter should get more time, give the man some talent too work with.
 
I think Porter is a great motivator, but i can't picture him being a good X and O's or technique person.

Dupree is an athletic freak who has regressed as his career has progressed, that is due to coaching and lack of desire on his part.

Hard to say how much is coaching and how much is the FO's lack of talent and how much is all of the above. I don't think Vince Lombardi hisself could coach up Worilds, Jones, Durpee, and every DB in between Willie Gay and Artie Burns.

He certainly does not look athletic to me. He looks fat and slow along with getting pushed around
 
Basically in 1 off-season we have to find a starting safety and 2 starting ILB (let's face it Shazier isn't coming back any time soon) as well as dealing with Bell's situation while trying to find an heir apparent to Ben. Colbert has his work cut out for him this spring.

DEFINATELY needs to happen and yet tonight. MANY replacements out there, Jack Delrio / sexy rexy / amongst others (only mention these as you've heard of them)

They also need a real impact guy that can be a wall at the NT spot.

I think this could happen in the draft but need NEW DC in order to utilize this option.


We also still need OLB'er and ILB'er also. Durpress & Spence are garbage and I doubt Shazier ever plays again.

I thin k our LB coach needs to go before anything else, YOU are right on ILB and if the oppertunity is there then upgrade OLB


We will probably loose Hubbard in Free Agency but the Steelers have a good OL in waiting in Matt Fieler and BJ Finney is pretty good too.

Gotta lock up LeVeon Bell long term. This kid is only 25 years old and he a great RB.

NOT sure how this plays out but can't mortgage the team for one player. If right deal is there then yes take it.


Also need to resign Haden to the roster also.

He hasn't altered Dupree's technique one single bit and he has had plenty of time, PORTER is a MUST fire along with the DC. And Lake.

1. Time for Haley to go, he has run out of excuses.
1b. Sucks to think Ben will have to go with someone new for his last year (two?), will it pay off, who knows. I just know THIS is not working
2. Time for Butler to go, he is doing worse than LeBeau, and they showed him the door.
3. Tomlin is not going to be fired, though he may very well deserve to be. Would not offer any more extensions till he shows he can correct this clusterfuck.
4. Shazier will not be back, sorry to say, but his long term health is more important. Need to get someone to take his place, FA or early in the draft.
4b Not sure about Porter, is it the Quality he has available, or just not able to get his knowledge across? Personal relationship with HC may be the problem
5. If Ben returns, a QB is needed early, if he doesn't, one will be needed sooner than that. Jones is NOT the answer, Dobbs I am not too sure of either, but he hasn't had a chance to show yet.
6. Mitchell should have been gone LAST YEAR, again the Steelers wait to long to part ways.
7. Bell may very well be the best RB in the NFL right now, but can they afford to pay him, and not have the money it will take to fix the real problem? I would tag his *** and tell him to work out a trade.
8. I would not break up the WR's (Brown, Bryant, JuJu) the rest can be replaced.
8b Would offer the WR Coach position to Ward, never has someone done so much with so little advantage.
9. Need to add another TE, I am fine with James & McDonald
10. Another CB or two as well as a S or two.
10b Not sure about Lake, is it the Quality he has available, or just not able to get his knowledge across?
 
As long as deer in the headlights is the coach. The standard is the standard.
Good enough to get in only to get tebow'd, then tebow'd again by Blake bottles.
Unfortunately that's been the standard for years
