Tomlin supporters....

Was responding to fords post
I know I was really speaking to everyone who was pointing fingers. Sorry I just quoted you. Reality is we have some white and black racists here. Not unlike life. Just don't want to even have the topic on the football side.It accomplishes nothing.

If there's anyone to point a finger at on the coaching staff it's Keith Butler. Nothing else to debate. If all you want to do right now is moan and cry you should be calling for coach Butler's head.

Team focus is definitely an issue, it’s on the coaches but it’s on the players too.. we’re talking professionals. Le’Veon has got to be pumped to talk all off season about money and contract now.

I agree, I think coaching is an issue starting at the top but man, some of those players on defense just aren’t good either. Bud and Mitchell are a joke. Heyward and Tuitt were nowhere to be found.

Yeah, I can’t blame him but I just have a sense that the players thought they could just show up and win today, specifically on defense. Where was the heart? Just didn’t see it.

I don't get how you can't come up with an adjustment to stop those swing passes that kill you the entire game on third and long? And Haley has to go as well. A sweep when you need a ******* foot? On that play, why doesn't our QB check out of that **** and sneak it for the first down? Giving up that many points to one of the worst offenses in the league is inexcusable. Problem is there won't be a single coordinator change, not one. And the onside kick there? Unreal.

Read that both 4th downs were audibled out of run plays..one to a pass and one to the sweep

I agree to an extent, but whoever called the 4th and 1 plays should be gone. A toss against a fast team when we need like a foot is idiotic. I can understand the play action and Ben had Rogers for the first but tried JuJu instead. Should have lined up and plowed forward with Nix leading the way. The Haley bubble screens are also terrible. More than butler needs to go. We were only in this game due to insane athletic / lucky plays by Brown, Bell, and a nice catch by Bryant. Most of those plays were bad calls that happened to work out because of all world players.

WHY IS TOMLIN AND HALEY NOT FIRED YET?
They chose to lose, hands down...any of your Tomlin sheep want to defend him, your as ignorant as he is
Even the worst HS coaches don't call an onside kick in that situation

Tomlin is about to get blasted by all the national media. Will be interesting to see the Steelers front office reaction to this. They won't comment publicly of course but heads will roll, not Tomlin's unfortunately. This fish is rotting from the head down.

Of course you did...have to blame Ben. Never mind that Ben said the calls came from Haley.

Mike Tomlin is as good as any head coach in the NFL. Start narrowing your focus if you want to pinpoint what went wrong today.

Keep telling yourself that. We will not win number 7 as long as Tomlin is the coach of this team.

Seriously "TIBS"
They coach across the field was 10 times better...
His team was prepared
OC and DC had solid game plans
= WIN

Tomlin still wondering if they should knee for the anthem...MY GOD, watch some football
Worst 13-3 team in the league

The first bad call came with the Steelers facing fourth-and-inches from the edge of the red zone in the first quarter. Down 14-0, Pittsburgh elected to go for it, and lined up with a tight trips formation and a single runner in the backfield. Roethlisberger didn't like what he saw from the Jaguars defense, altered the play at the line, and opted to pitch the ball back to Le'Veon Bell, who got blown up in the backfield.

There's no harm in going for it on fourth down — it's likely a decision more teams should make — but tossing the ball wide and gunning for the edge is an odd way for the Steelers to try and pick up a few inches. With Roethlisberger's size, it's tough to imagine him being unable to make it to the marker.

In the fourth quarter, Roethlisberger would get a chance at redemption. Down 28-21 and facing fourth-and-one, the Steelers lined up in the same formation, and Roethlisberger once again appeared to call an audible at the line. But rather than sneaking the ball himself or handing it off for Le'Veon Bell, Roethlisberger threw a 15-yard dart off play-action that fell incomplete.

No, he really isn't. Tomlin has arguably the best RB in the NFL, THE best WR in the NFL, a superb offensive line, a HOF QB, two very good defensive lineman, two 1st round CB's, and lost at home to a team QB'ed by Blake ******* Bortles.
