AFC Division Game - Jags vs. Steelers

If Titans can comeback vs KC down big at halftime surely Steelers can come from 14 down at halftime with HOFer Lenard "Eric Dickerson" Fournette staying inside to because it's too cold to play

What we need is to pound Bell up the middle and tell him to just hit the hole no dancing, use play action off that, and ORDER the idiot wearing the #7 jersey to get rid of the ball even if it's incomplete NOT force it.

That should give the D a good rest and keep the Jags run game on the sideline. If the Big Dummy ***** the bed one more time we are done. Keep Haley from throwing stupid picks and we'll be fine.
 
Can anyone explain something for me? There was a play earlier in the game where Fournette made a nice run and there was a flag thrown against Pittsburgh for defensive holding.... they gave Jax the yardage plus tacked 5 yards onto the end of the run. I’ve watched football for 40 years, and during that time it’s always been you either can decline the penalty and take the results of the play or accept the penalty and replay the down. I never remember a situation where you get the results of the play plus the penalty yardage unless it’s a personal foul penalty like a face mask or something.
 
We have to get some turnovers ourselves. We just keep shooting ourselves against these guys. Hopefully this last drive changes our mental makeup. We can do this but we have to believe and unclench our buttholes that were tighter than a steel knot to begin this game.

This offense needs to wake up....that TD was HUUUUGE....but we gotta, gotta build on that....keep the pressure on them offensively.

I guess you're right, but it reeked of desperation. The jags were expecting us to try and just get the first down, that might be the only time we fool them today.

We need to just attack their weakness. The opening drive plan of telegraphing pass and then running toss plays later was just beyond idiotic. I'm a Haley supporter since day one, but if that was his doing and not Ben's or Tomlin's; I agree with everyone else, he has got to go.
 
1.stop the run and make bortles beat you. jacksonville had some huge holes the 1st half.

We need to stop with the ******* empty back set, Jax puts one of their corners on him and Bell would be helpful to chip, and oh yeah, at least give them the thought we may run it

No more turnovers. Score some points and get some kind of defensive effort and we're back in it. So, it remains to be seen

I imagine it was a spot foul where the penalty is tacked on at the spot of the penalty after he gained some yards
